this game was alright..Not as good as mma games in the longevity of the fun factor. Sure boxing is fun for a few goes then after that I get bored. To each their own , for sure...I prefer MMA games.

Fight Night Champion was the first game that made me have an actual difficult challenge and take the final boss seriously against Isaac Frost. The best sports game period IMO.

The story mode made me feel like I was watching anime in a good way Watching Andre grow and mature as a fighter and person as he moves up through the ranks of middleweight and then heavyweight was great to experience

I still play this daily on Xbox.

Everytime I go back to champion I’m like damn this is better than I remember. After a few hours of playing you really start to notice the flaws though. Still a great game to go back and play every once in awhile.

Yeah imo once you start playing it agai. For a few hours you kinda figure out the formula to win not saying oh you fight every fight like this then you'll win but getting settled with the timing and countering makes this still a fun game but seemingly less challenging

Also I forgot to mention in Round 3 you could shoulder roll depending on your block style. I love it.

This game is what built my aggressive ass style in every fighting game

In the champion mode id go on the easiest difficulty and just swing like fucking rambo until i knocked someone out

Love that you’re using my favorite boxer. The only thing I didn’t like about FNC was the block system. I feel it made it to easy. I mean one block for high and low? When round 3 had front,left and right block for high and low. Just my opinion. Great content as always.

The automatic block is one of the major things that held Fight Night Champion back. I’m kind of skeptical of ESBC having the semi-auto block, but at least it’s not just going to be one button.

But you can choose between fully manual and semi auto, so just choose what you feel is better.

the best boxing game period. only thing i wish they implemented were feints and having different buttons for head and body blocking, hopefully esbc adds on this and makes an even better boxing game (:

Man I went back and started a new legacy mode couple days ago and there are definitely quite a few things that could be improved but mainly on the UI side of things. The boxing mechanics still get me really involved and invested to this day.

What would have been great is if instead of just fight night, you also played before the name change and played knockout kings. That was fight night before fight night

This was such a great game. I have it on my Xbox Series X. They need to add Fight Night Round 3 on there. Hands down one of the best boxing games ever created.

Bare knuckle mode was wayyy ahead of itself

You should try victorious boxers 2. It has the anime art style due to being based on one, but the footwork is unmatched so far in a boxing sim. You can actually walk around the opponent, like get behind them, or on the side on them.....much like Lomachenko. I have a video about the game's footwork on my channel.

Fight night 2004 and Fight night Champion are my two favorites

Flash KOs happen wayyyyy too often in Fight Night Champion. I prefer Round 3 for that reason

Anybody got help? I got Fight Night Champion for 360 on my Xbox One X, and there is a strange lag. Not just that it is 30fps, but i feel a strange lag that makes the game kind of unplayable.. When i watch other people play it i dont see it. Got a 4K tv also.

I put so many hours into Fight Night: Champion. I actually still play it on my Xbox 360 haha. The graphics were astounding when it came out in 2011.

The shots in round 1 look more devastating

I still have a soft spot for FNR4 even though the roster left a lot to be desired.

2 times in a row playing against my friend, the refery stoped the fight while I was standing , no knock out or anything, and my friend won,both time. Ever happened too you? Thoses were the only times that happened too me and I played this game too much !

Does anyone else run into a glitch with Ali’s jab where it just doesn’t land? Not really anything to do with the vid I’m just curious because I’ve run into it

One block button is not competitive at all that’s the only problem with that game other than that it got it.

I hate that you can't use headgear like an amateur fighter anywhere outside legacy mode. I would love to be able to just use a created fighter with headgear in Fight Now mode and be able to *choose* the opponent. Why couldn't they just do that?

Champion is still a great game. I go back and forth between 4 and champion and I'm still not bored if it.

Fnc is decent but man 10+ years. After going back and playing it you definitely see the flaws. I’m ready to give my money to SCI I want ESBC

In my opinion Fight Night Round 4 was and still is the best to me man. Graphically isn’t bad at all but just the challenge it gave me.. In FNC the AI is terrible throwing 10 hooks from like 5 ft away just terrible to me the amount of times they wif on shots

I'm downloading it right now, I was actually playing fight night 3 recently, really good but the graphics are pretty bad These graphics can actually hold up with modern games, I'm excited to play it, pretty sure I only played the bare knuckle boxing mode

Fight Night Champion is that one old game the men at my store always ask for and I never understood why.. but now I see lol. Literally 35-40 year old men always mention the game to me and ask if it’s on the Xbox one and I’m just sitting here like “nah man it’s old but what’s so good about it” 😭

You gotta play the other games career mode etc.. you can’t just play head to head. Fight night champion has the best gameplay but round 4 career mode is amazing

The only con to the game which I hope boxing club does better is the knockdown and ko animations. Every knockdown in champion looks like complete death and loss of consciousness lol. I hope they also have standing stoppages if your getting destroyed just like in real life.
