Ahh yes, the .50 cal pdw is weaker than the ump45, very cool stylis

what i still can’t wrap my head around is the fact that the UMP-45 can 3hk limb up to 140 studs with LB and .45 Super (3hk torso range is 166 studs), while also having more pen than most ARs (1.9 studs) and pretty manageable recoil too

Rifles are just really short-range in PF. Intervention is like the only non-fifty cal that can get a torso onetap longshot, and the only reason the AUG A3 PARA isn't the best sniper is cause AUG A1 has better muzzle velocity. Shotgun slugs=best sniper

Tbf, looking at straight caliber/powder won’t give an accurate scale as to the damage they should realistically do, but that’s more of a problem with the fact that pf uses set damage numbers in the first place; in this example 9mm will usually deposit all of its energy in what it hits (that’s why it’s low pen, high cqc damage) but 7.62x51 will overpenetrate badly and end up depositing little energy in a target because of how well they cut through materiel

Snipers suck. Most have lower torso onetap range than SHOTGUNS. AUG A1 best sniper

I don't like the mv being too low. The map size is large, but the mv is too low, it makes harder to hit someone. Like m3a1, you can see the bullet drop clearly, at the close range. Like you aim for the head, but the bullets drop to the limbs 🤔

remove the torso mult for the p90 but leave the fire rate as is but the vector does need a nerf immediately UMP45 is fine. Not OP. there were only two ways to balance it, give it damage comparable to other 45 smgs or pistols or increase the movement speed by adding a folding stock attachment. i would have preferred the latter but i like the new low to no pen battle rifle damage profile. 40 SNW should have the old damage profile though. mp7 was already sleeper meta before the update i dont think it needed to be changed. mac 10 should not be anywhere near 40 damage hate the rama changes i shouldn't have wished on that monkey's paw for a bizon buff

tbh tge mac 10 us even better than it used to especially how the hip fire builds have no recoil now

I'd say the sniper buffs in the test are almost as bad as the pdw "rework." like, why is the m1903 buffed? it was already very good. it didn't need the buff. I also think the m107 shouldn't have it easy one-shots at 250 studs. people like to complain about the bfg and hecate, so imagine when the m107 becomes the hecate, but with more bullets in the mag and faster firerate with minor downsides.

For the g36c part, hard disagreed. The old g36c fills a niche of being *THE* mini assault rifle. It has mediocre range and acceptable damage of an ar at best, has an okayish accuracy that let the gun perform at mid range, while being way weaker at the usual pdw range. Which is balanced out by its **FAST AS FUCK** speed. Handling? Aim down sight? Instant. Its walkspeed rivals that of the fastest pdw. Its the gun for when you think just slapping retract stock on your ar isnt enough, and you can have your own retract stock! It was THE speedster gun for those who has a preference for a more midrange approach, willing to snort 7 lines of cocain, shoot peas and actually being a threat. Now g36c is a generic pdw outclassed by many other pdw, including THE GENERIC SMG (TM) aka mp5 since it has a fast firerate. Meanwhile the g36k is a downgrade from the average carbine, having the formerly reasonable lack of damage, range and notable multis from the old g36c without the benefits (not even 14.1 walkspeed??? Why??? It was supposed to be a stat swap????) meaning you’d be better off using other carbine, or just go with a full assault rifle like THE GENERIC ASSAULT RILFE(TM) aka the m16a3 or honest to god, just use the full g36. I couldnt care less about other pdws, but this rework remove an actually fun niche gun. Im all for a revert of both, even if none of them will be good.
