It's not metal, but Corey Taylor was in a movie that Dave Grohl did about the SoundCity recording studio and they did a collab on a song that is fucking awesome. You should look it up for some kick ass vocals from Corey, Grohl did drums, Cheap Shots guitarist was lead and it just all came together fantastically.

I'm going to say what everyone else is saying because I'm blown away right now that you do not know that Corey Taylor this WHOLE time has been in two DIFFERENT bands. Slipknot and Stone Sour. Stone Sour is basically what I'd call imo an Alternative band where he sings all mellow and nice and sweet and might I add I love it so I'm not knocking it in anyway, and Slipknot he does his vocals imo on most songs I've heard really back and forth like this one. Al least the ones I like.

You were actually kinda wrong if you thought Slipknot (Corey Taylor) was mostly screaming. In fact they're known for having clean vocals mixed in with heavy screaming. Most of their songs are like this. I'm thinking Wait n Bleed, the Vermillion songs, etc. :)

Oh yeah, Corey Taylor can absolutely sing his ass off. Honestly, he can do just about anything vocally. If you want to hear a 100% melodic Slipknot song, check out "Snuff." The videos good, but the live acoustic version is my favorite performance. It's just him and an acoustic guitar.
