whisper is fine in lfgs but in coordinated play you'll have significantly faster kills using rockets, this is just a showcase of optimizing dmg on the support weapons. not knocking on whisper though it's fine just not as good when running farms/speeds

Honestly if all goes good you can 1 phaze oryx with whisper, but thats the only boss i find a good use of the gun

more like. a weapon known for support and not for damage matching an A tier weapon. Props to the video for showcasing a playstyle that allows support weapon to deal good damage

Not even match, he was ~400k less than his team one of which I saw whisper shots, idk about the others, and ur sacrificing a entire players DPS to div. Gjally is a great support weapon. Just isn't a good tool for oryx, just use whisper, simpler and does great dmg, and unless ur beating him a phase before ur team would with whisper, it ain't worth

@@CleopatraKing its a master 1 phase with whisper when fully optimised, its mot worth using anything else unless youre insta killing for a speedrun

Genuine question, why twilight oath over the Ikelos sniper? I always see people using it, but ikelos is craftable with equally good handling and dmg perks (or is it a different solar 140?)

for damage rotations (at least on oryx) your energy sniper is primarily a way to proc bns, this means you're never going to be shooting it long enough to proc focused fury or high impact. distant tumulus (the one used in the video with clown cartridge/firing line) and twilight oath both come with vorpal/firing line which is a no brainer 15% damage buff with no condition. I suppose if you don't have a crafted supremacy to dump you could use ikelos but it would do significantly less damage

i think the more surprising thing is that nobody died from a rocket with all that moving at the first part

I'm curious, does bait and switch or kinetic tremors do more dmg on supremacy

I think kinetic tremors is typically better but it doesn't work on oryx. I only use supremacy vs this boss so mine has bns

If you’re dumping use b&s, if you’re just popping off a few shots here and there kinetic tremors would typically be better

technically heat rises would be better if my team did better damage and had a brick lined up for final stand. as far as this exact kill goes i didn't really make any mistakes all that matters is dumping all of the gally and as much bns supremacy as possible

small correction, i shot a tumulus shot while i still had bns procced on supremacy which doesnt refresh so that is a few thousand damage loss

I would recommend izzy sniper (twilight oath or tumulus) with rocket over a breach gl for oryx. I have a video of a decent rotation but I've improved a bit since then so I can post a new one later tonight. breach gls are hard on oryx because you have to keep the gun out until the grenade hits him so you have a lot of down time

That was the point. It was meant to make it better for ad clear. Not buff the damage of the gun. It gave it like 1% more damage or something

Yeah increased the explosion damage so it had better splash, then nerfed the impact damage to balance it back out to the same damage it was previously. So the splash got buffed, but the overall damage stays the same.
