The rithm is very similar to the Romanian Maramureș songs.

Folk songs from Ukrainian and Polish Carpathians are often similar to those from Maramureș since many of the Vlach population that influenced their cultures came from that region

I have seen a video with a Ukrainian (or maybe Rusyn?) interpretation of a traditional Maramureș song, even keeping the Vlach/Romanian ”dorule” keyword - sometimes written ”dolure” :) kzread.info/dash/bejne/on5hpK2bf7GuncY.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/qpt8ydyPYauZiJc.html These mutual influences are fabulous.
