How lucky are you? I was thinking Danny might appear at these Halloween shows since he released his first rock album in 20 years and redid Insects and one or two more. That was a dream. Honestly singer Brendan McKian is so darned good we didn't miss Danny at all. This show was so loud, I see why Danny's ears hurt after 17 years of Boingo concerts!

I can't get past Elfman not singing. But I will admit the singer is doing a great job.

This is 90% better than the Danny's 2021 encore song. Just as Danny's voice is too unique to replace, the band's timing, their groove is also irreplaceable.

Interesting observation, just watched his Dead Man's Party encore I think you're referring to. I think you're right, as Danny has slowed the song down and some of the "punk" is missing. I think he would be the first to admit that Brendan McCreary has a few more octaves than him. And that's ok, time passes and bands evolve! I'm glad Steve Bartek and the guys keep the original thing going with the "Former Members" show. It was great!
