This is a favorite of mine. My dad and I had a special relationship. We were both jokers, like to make each other laugh. I was returning from the graveyard shift. On the way home this song played. Did not have a cell phone ( only ones available were the Brick ones). So this song came on the radio, I JUST KNEW THAT IS WAS MY DAD SAYING GOODBYE. I laughed so hard, I knew it he had passed. Sure enough when I get home i was told to call my brother. I told my wife that I know Dad has died. She asked how I knew.... but that was between Dad and I. I still love and miss him.

When my parents would throw Halloween parties for us kids, back in the 90s, this song was the most looked forward to on our Halloween CD. Every time this song came on, we would freak out and just go crazy. A bunch of little people, hyped up on sugar and dancing their little hearts out. Running around inside and outside. Man, good memories. Still love this song to this day because of them

As a jojo fan, i agree it's something we gotta stop doing. We need to leave these comments alone and just come to appreciate the song that was referenced.

I've known for a while that Danny Elfman was in a band earlier on, but it's only been in recent months that I actually decided to listen to the music and it wasn't long after that I bought this album. I love it! Been listening quite often the last few days and this one in particular is stuck in my head! Just showed a co-worker this today too who is a fellow Danny Elfman fan and she really enjoyed. Another new fan to add to the list!

@@bigcurtchop a late answer, but you are correct! Oingo shows were 2-3 hours of everyone in the venue non-stop dancing, everyone singing. It was amazing. Shoulda been there!

Dude Danny Elfman is a true musical genius!! He was way ahead of his time in the 80s.. his smile at the beginning of this video is creepy! But I believe that's the point!.. This song is truly a masterpiece! They don't make music like this anymore!

Was watching an Avenged Sevenfold doc..they mentioned this band as a huge influence on The Rev (RIP), and proceeded to do my homework. This type of sound was very progressive during its time, and I'm glad I found this, especially in my fog of perception of where the hell we're supposed to be, or find ourselves in, or where we were previously. This is great music.

In 1973, a musician friend of mine told me one Friday night, that he was going to see a group called "Mystic Nights of the Oingo Boingo", and invited me to come along. I had previous plans, but I should have gone. I later became aware of Oingo Boingo and their wonderfull music. Favorites? Where do you start....this is a good one.

I saw Oingo Boingo in concert back in the day, they were awesome!

This is my Father's favourite song when he still young.. Sadly he passed away in 2003.. He still keep the cassete of these song..

God I love Danny Elfman so much. It makes me sad being born in 1994, missing all those years to see him like this.

Not to rub it in, but in person, cameras don't even BEGIN to do them justice! I went to almost every concert in the 80s & right up to his Farewell concert, still own 2 copies of every one of their (VINYL) LPs and EPs, too. They were AWESOME! (Brings back some fantastic memories)

I'm glad younger people are getting a chance to hear them. Born in '66. Enjoyed seeing them live many times in Los Angeles in small enough venues. Danced my ass off.

Just remember... Oingo Boingo is the brainchild of Danny Elfman, who has done the score of most all of Tim Burton's movies

See, I grew up in the 80s so we all knew Oingo Boingo (Weird Science) and was excited to learn Danny was writing music for like almost every Tim Burton movie( and more), but the fact that you know who he is and not from this band is awesome- no one has to love his music, but he is brilliant and is a musical genius- Or maybe I have you all wrong and you are a child of the 80s- either way- keep your mind constantly open, as you are, to listen to as much music of different genres and you will never be disappointed.

Blew me away too. Favorite music composer AND one of my top three singers of all time.

Saw the B-52's open for Oingo Boingo in Daytona it was so fantastical.

One of the best scenes in a classic Dangerfield comedy. Ogingo Bongo was outstanding.

Oingo Boingo need to do a reunion tour, would love to see them live.

This is how I like to see Danny Elfman the most. I have much respect for what he does now but as I'm 20 years old I love seeing the energetic rock Danny. If only I could have seen it live before he relaxed....

halloween is the time of the year when everyone remembers how amazing oingo boingo is

Born in 75. Back to school was on when I was a kid. Enjoyed it. Now I love it.

LOVE this song and film

The composition in this song is literally insane. There is so much going on musically and it sounds really busy but it still slaps so god damn hard.

I found out about this song because we're singing this for a chorus thing and we might have some of the band members join us!

I was and still am a huge fan of Robert Downey Jr. I'm so glad he was able to overcome his addiction. now he is back on top. way to go. he is a brilliant and talented actor.

Have you seen him play Charlie Chaplin in that biopic from the 90s. God, it was like seeing Chaplin alive again because Robert was able to get down many of his mannerisms. Should have won a fucking Oscar for it.
