Oil Slick Perdigon: The secret is in the wire rib segmentation | Fly Tying Tutorial
Спорт
In this fly tying tutorial, Curtis puts a little twist on the original Oil Slick Buzzer. The Oil Slick Perdigon is a versatile pattern that can be fished in many different ways and has been proven time and time again to be effective. The wire ribbing method here gives off an awesome sheen in the water for the segmentation.

I'm not a fan of perdigon nymphs. You're literally fishing a giant bead as an attractor pattern/micro lure. Also, two weeks ago, the cdc updated the toxological profile of polyvinyl chloride lethal exposure from 100ppm to 100,000ppm. A value that remained unchanged for over 17 years. What are the odds?

Nice nymph will try it out in Scottish rivers 👍
Nice
Hey Curtis. It looks like you are using one of my bodkins.
Is it true that beaded jig flies and std beaded nymphs both swim hook point up?
Would you only fish this in lakes, or do you think it is a river fly as well?
