I blink and suddenly it’s more than a few paint splotches. I’m a digital artist, and so I can’t imagine how much planning ahead you must do. You guys don’t have the luxury of layers and layer settings, you actually have to figure it out. Such commendable work

I am an artist and... I could never draw using this process - I am always amazed when mostly realistically painting Artists start somewhere and finish a little area and then move on to the next. I always need to work simultaniously on the whole canvas, slowly rendering out what i want to show, with the whole picture always being in the same level of "finishedness". I know - its a very different process to render something very close to a reference - but to have this kind of accuarate color perception and skill, is marvellous. And added to this, this is a very pleasing looking portrait. Thank you for sharing.

One of the most important in pieces of art works like this, is knowing where the highlights are, where the suns reflecting from, where the shade is and the different colours combined to make 'skin colour'. If you've mastered that, you've covered a big part of art.

Oil painting time-lapses are always so fascinating to watch! The theme of "Blossom" sounds particularly enchanting, as it likely captures the beauty and delicate nature of flowers or perhaps even the broader idea of growth and renewal. Watching the painting process in fast-forward must reveal the incredible skill and patience involved in creating such detailed art. It's amazing how artists can bring such vibrant life to their canvas! 🌸🎨✨
