Oil Painting of Claude Monet, Master Copy by John Singer Sargent 🤵🏻♂️ Paint With Me | Cozy Art Vlog
In this video I paint a mastercopy of Claude Monet, by John Singer Sargent. After painting from life for a while now, I felt that it was time to play around with portraiture once again. I had been studying several techniques and methods on how to achieve likeness in a portrait, and I wanted to put this newfound knowledge to the test. I am really proud of this painting and I am happy to share it with you all. This painting was done on an 11x14 inch canvas panel, with water-mixable oils. If you would like to see the full, real-time painting process and paint along with me, you can find the full demo on my Patreon page. I hope you love this cozy art vlog and have a wonderful day! Happy painting! 🥰

Right?! How cool is it that they were friends. LETTERS? What book?! I've never heard of this. That sounds so wonderful! ☺️ If you have the name of the book, I would really appreciate it :)
It's so important to copy the work of influential artists- master copies take us out of our comfort zone and make us use color combinations and techniques we might not otherwise try. Thanks also for showing use of gloves to keep paint off the skin. Not every artist needs gloves at the easel, but it's something to consider if your technique involves regular skin contact with riskier colors and solvents, or if you know you have a sensitivity.

Yes!! Absolutely!! I couldn't agree more. Master copies has definitely been one of the things that helped me improve my art skills. Gloves are so important! I'm trying to remember to use them in every session :) Thank you, Blick!

Thank you so much Isabella for being a part of it! It's amazing to know you support me. I'm sending you all my greatest wishes for your beautiful art 💕
Ana, i am really impressed, it is great! I would love painting with the impressionnist style, so i admire your work. I am also surprised - in a good way - that young painters like you or others i follow on youtube, like so much impressionnism. If you come to France and feel like sharing art painting, just tell me 🤗

ana you legend! what are your top tips or techniques when using water mixable oils? i'm just starting to get into using them more. i never know how much water to use
@AnaCornejoArt
Жыл бұрын
I treat the water as solvent. I don't use much of it to mix with the paints. It's mainly to just clean my brushes well :) You kind of have to experiment with it to get a feel of how much is too much or too little. Hope this helps!
