Been having a mystery with oil on the garage floor. Took it to our mechanic and he couldn't find it. I think you have solved the mystery. Will let you know when we confirm it. Thanks.

I have a 2003 Ford MACh 1 Mustang, 4.6/4-valve and the oil filter adapter gasket started leaking Feb 2016. I replaced it and just this month it started leaking oil once again. The seal was $7 in 2016 and yesterday I paid $16 at the dealership. I did notice the design was changed from plastic to a metal body.

I got 07 crown vic and oil pan gasket is leaking and everyday I check my oil before starting the car. I'll add a bit oil if I have to

hey willie i already change the oil filter adapter but now i have oil all over my oil pan and a lot of dirt and grime and every time i change my oil that gets on my nerve. i change that part back in 2014 after i got the car in 2011. but now a mechanic how told me that it was the oil pan gasket and the rear main seal i don't want to pay no 700 dollars so i wanted to do this by myself but what all i have to do. my motor mounts are bad and need to change and my oil pan gasket need to change and my rear main seal i need to change the catalytic converters and the muffler and i need to change the inner and outer tie end rods but i want to take care of this oil leak first so help me out willie

thanks for the video. i just got done changing the filter on my towncar and had an oil leak in that area and i was wondering if that might be what it was. once you have the filter off how difficult is it to change? old gasket hard to come off? does anti freeze come out also?? thanks

Just had intake replaced now I have oil on my valve cover bolts is it possible that the intake is leaking?

I have oil under the intake manifold pooling in the engine valley. From where could that originate?

Maybe the gasket under the valve cover on that side, seems like i saw that, one of the spark plug wells had a lot of oil pooling in it too. PITA to take off all the coils and the fuel injector rail on that side, but it went OK.
