We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Oia, Santorini on June 2021.
Santorini is the most spectacular island in Greece and one of the geologic treasures of Europe.
Perched at the northern tip of this volcanic island and built into the rocky cliffside, Oia is the most picturesque and romantic village in Santorini. The village extends for almost 2 km (1.2 miles) along the northern edge of the caldera, at a height of between 70 and 100 m (230 and 330 feet) above sea level. It is built on the steep slope of the caldera and the houses and restaurants are built into niches carved into the caldera on the seaward side. Oia paths are very narrow and hence gets congested during the tourist season. The idyllic surroundings of the village have a complex of white washed, blue domed churches and charming, traditional Cycladic houses. Oia has some of the island’s best hotels and restaurants as well as high-end shopping.
Our guided walking tour is about 1.86 miles (3 km) long, starts at Saint George Church (Agios Georgios) and covers most attractions and historic sites of Oia, Santorini.

I experienced Santorini with my girlfriend for 9 days in September 2023. It is a stunning island and we had a great time staying in Perissa and Fira, with day trips to Akrotiri, Megalochori, the Caldera, Thirasia, and Oia. I left part of my heart in the beautiful paradise that is Santorini. God willing I will win the lotto and buy a villa there to share with family and friends.

What i love too in this video it’s people. I like see and hear the moments when people speak, it’s so alive. For example at 15:26 we see a woman who call her daugter to come back. This little moment is so great.

What a fabulous tour. Thankyou for taking me back to one of my most favoutite places on the planet. It was great to view many places I have walked, with out the crowd, but hopefully the traders are coping well enough during this wretched pandmic. This part of Greece is beautiful 😍so romantic would love to visit here is so picturque feels like you're in a storybook fantasy it just don't look real fantastic place to visit.....at times it seems a little scary bc of the height makes you feel like you were going to tipple over into the blue waters, its a very interesting place thank you so much for this fabulous tour 😊 enjoyed it mucho....really nice
