My first knife was the Gut Knife Tiger Tooth MW, this was probably the best looking knife I've ever unboxed, the pullout animation isn't too eye candy which makes it still fresh every time you pull it out. And most of its skin pattern works well with light colored gloves due to the handle being wooden, really loved how it looked in game, really satisfying to pull it out every time that awp shot pulls through

My defense for a gut knife is if you're on a budget, and want a really fucking cool pattern, grab a gut knife, pullout animation isn't too bad, and the gem dopplers are still on what I'd call the lower end of some prices. And come on, handle aside, it's really not that ugly

Huntsman is prob a good choice if you have a little more to spare. Got a ww good float lore for 170 and it looks pretty good. It’s got the same animations as the gutknife but there’s just something about the huntsman. It just looks like you want a knife to look like

Gut knifes can be the ugliest knifes with some finishes, but with a decent finish(vanilla, stained, Damascus, blue steel, black laminate(just bought this one I love it), case hardened, doppler, fade, tiger tooth, rust coat, lore) its great

The Falchion gems covering the handle as well are insane!

In the bayo, m9 bayo and stiletto it looks better if you click inspect right after you pull it out. In the bowie and butterfly its better when you spam inspect and attack like you can spin it a lot and i have adhd so its really nice for me.

Im surprised he doesn't know at least butterfly and karambit has idle animation also.

The wood handle is so good though.... Love gut knife but hate it in autotronic, its like putting carbon fiber on a vintage sports car.

Bayonet has my favorite draw animation of all knives. it just flows so well

I don’t really like either of the bayonets and gut knife is underrated. I was in a match with randoms once with someone with an emerald green gut knife and it was beautiful.

It's all personal taste. Personally, my two favorite knives are the huntsman and butterfly. I like the karambit but there's just something about the huntsman knife that I really love.

Every knife has an idle animation. It’s that classic knife has the most dynamic

the m9 bayonet is my favourite knife in the game but a thing that bothers me a lot about it is that when you inspect it the thumb clips through the ring and i dont know why no one points it out

Personally my favorite budget knife is the huntsman, the pull out animation is so damn good and so as the look. But my favorite of all is the butterfly.

Yeah thats my problem with butterfly. The blade itself is huge L. And animation get boring really fast. I found out during my years of CSGO, that it is really important how blade itself look to keep me interested.

I think bowie knife is underrated sometimes.

The thing about cooler rare pullout animations is that they really could just be the default animation and you get that every inspect or pullout rather than a basic one.

my favorite has got to be the classic knife, but the regular bayonet and the stilleto are a close second and third. The bayonet is just bigger than the M9 but people dont realise it, and i like the funny needle knife,

Currently using a huntsman lore. And yes they exist. Got a good float ww, scratches are minimal and you don’t rlly notice em too much. Yeah I would say I’m content with it. Decent knife for an awper aswell I would say. It’s just a solid knife.

I had a huntsman tiger tooth and I also dig that knife. It's like a bigger, more modern gut knife because of the similar animations. Certainly good for AWPing.

i like the bowie knife its my fav by far 2nd 3rd and 4th are karambit, batterfly and stilleto for me in order

I sold my slaughter stiletto a few months before the hype back when a couple pros tried it out.

Haven’t heard a totally valid point against the Talon Knife besides the sound on animation

Gut knife is honestly not that bad, there's better knives and a lot of the "cheap" patterns don't look that great on it. But idk man Gut knife ruby and sapphire are so nice and a knife I had was the lore it was budget and it was really cool (ALSO the FT version that I owned didn't scratch up as badly as my Bayonet Lore FT, so it was a good option if you wanted lore skin that wasn't MW/FN). You went into Karambits and Bayonets and M9's the prices just went up by a 100 dollars/euros easily. Some of the knives I used to have (most are not at the same time, but just cycled through, upgraded and whatnot) are Bayonet lore FT, Bayonet Tiger Tooth FN, StatTrak Bowie Knife Stained FT (which I gave to a friend), Butterfly Knife Slaughter MW, Gut Knife Lore FT as mentioned earlier, Gut Knife Freehand MW and Flip Knife Forest DDPAT FT. My favorites were for sure Bayonet Tiger Tooth FN, Bayonet Lore FT and Gut Knife Lore FT. Hated the Flip Knife, not a fan. And wasn't a fan of the bowie, I was probably just gonna recycle it into my gambling LOL and a friend was like joking that I should give it to him instead and I was like sure here fuck it. Some of my biggest regrets is that I used to own a Howling Dawn sticker. Aswell as a Fnatic Holo Katowice 2014. Wish I kept them, but yknow it is what it is, such is life. I'm also fairly certain I used to gamble skins either before or around the time IBP fucking threw their game. It's not unlikely that I actually have betted on that game specifically because I remember seeing IBP games often and they were very fucking good back in the day, not that I'd recall what I'd even bet since I didn't hear about the throw until much later, I just betted on a lot of games and occasionally watched but not often. Fucking gambling addiction fr fr. I also have an old unlisted video from like 5 years ago where I attempted a trade up for an AK case hardened with 10x M4A1-S Dark Water MW's. 50/50 chance and I got a fucking Deagle Hypnotic (Like 10 euro skin in FN). Then in the video I bought a name plate and tried typing out "I want to kill myself" but it ended with "I want to kill mysel" like I couldn't even make a nameplate correct and I tilted as fuck LOL, ended up naming it "I want to kms" then just slowly but surely exited the game completely. Good times, I remember that. Apperently the Deagle Hypno is like 130 euros now, holy inflation. But yeah incase you have or had a Deagle Hypnotic FN (not stattrak) skin called "I want to kms" that might be my old one.

I just bought my first knife, bs 0.53 stained survival knife. I actually like it, it has a good amount of blue and still shines well. At the super high floats it loses the shine. I dig the animations to, also the left hand is good and visible which was a must.

my friend has a gut knife autotronic, looks sick. was cheap as hell too. not a bad choice

for consistency, I prefer knives with no rare animations

the videos take on bayo is 100% accurate. its mid in every way but with a god tier pull annimation.

Flip in D tier is such a Silver take...

I have a Cold Steel Espda (Falcion) irl. I love it! My list is Kara, Bayo, M9 and Falcion in A Talon, Butterfly, Flip, Skelly, Huntsman, Classic and Nomad in B. Ursa, Para, Survivor, Gut, Stiletto and Bowie in C F tear is the Daggers for me. And S tier would be specific, like the #1 blue Gem Kara. I'm old school though so have a soft spot for the og knives. Blue gems and FN Crimson Webs I feel are S.

The Navaja Night Stripe fixes the ugly handle of the knife and makes it look like and actual tactical knife.

This video convinced me to buy a gut knife. Factory new gamma Doppler patterns for under $300? The draw animation really pushed me over the edge

i think that people who are drawn to the stiletto are the people who has actually held one in real life... i wasnt really crazy about it till i felt that flick mechanism

was gonna geta a scorched classic but i have enough steam bucks to buy a stilleto, ursus, or flip knife demascus steel. watching this reminded me that the classic is the only knife with a idle animation. now I cant decide what I want lol

cs2 update the gut knife shines much better in source 2, the shape and surface area looks lovely imo

yeah. if u look at the Fade or the Gammas, the Gut Knive looks amazing. But on the other side, the autotronic looks not as good as in csgo

He didn't even show the other inspect on the Ursus 😢 it's the best part

bruh i love the gut knife. first of all, i like fishing and i literally use basically the same knife when fishing. i think gut knife case hardened blue gem with blue gloves and scuba diving ct agent would be a good combo. i only say good because it isnt the cheapest combo out there. also by the way, the pullout animation im pretty sure is like a fish swimming in the water. 10/10 pullout, would but gut knife just for that.

i liked the nomad befor simple effect but now i dont like it when is so expensive

For me, i'd prefer an M9 over a BFK. Bowies are extremely cool too, i was very surprised to know that a lot of people don't like the Bowie. It looks dope af, big blade, clean animations, pretty cool finishes, can't believe it's so underrated

I’m glad they talked about inspect animations in this game. THE NOMAD KNIFE IS BROKEN. The “rare” animation is now the regular animation in CS2. In CSGO the regular animation looked better for case hardened users. It makes me not want to use the knife.

I don't like the stiletto. I actually like the Shadow daggers more than most of the shattered web knifes except the talon and skelleton.

So I've played CS for a long time, and I never really dove into the whole skin world. It still seems BONKERS to me that people are so into virtual skins. It's cool that it exists, I just can't get over the mental hurdle of money spent. Especially as someone who has some nice blades in real life.
