Ohio River Archaeology - Arrowhead Hunting - How To Find Arrowheads - History Channel - Dovetail -

I explain how to find arrowheads using HUGE LOGS in this one with excellent results....I find a Dovetail. Many of you have asked me "Can I find Arrowheads with a stick?" Nope. But you can with a log.

It is real EASY to move big logs around laying in water using a spud bar to "pry them along". I had trouble with that real big one. But in the water with a spud bar....i got it moved fairly easily when the water rose just a little around it. A big log like that REALLY accumulates the rock around them. And I always find artifacts.

I love learning new stuff---this video did not disappoint! As for the smoke here in Ohio---it sure is nuts, that's the word for it all right. Been out in it with my doggo, giving it the side-eye.

I feel ya! We live in Oregon and we've dealt with horrific forest fires for about the past 10 summers ... but we've been lucky (so far) this season. I feel for you all because I know it's easy to breathe or see theu all that heavy smoke!! Stay strong & if you have to, dip a hand-towel in cool water - wrong it out & wrap it around your nose & mouth. That smoke sux!!! Hoping for the best for all of you dealing with that yuck!!! ♡

@joyceclark8476 This is one of the 1st years in over a decade that Oregon isn't socked in with choking smoke from forest fires (many caused by Antifa) ... we never got special coverage or gov't disaster relief due to fires. Yes - it all sucks ... and sadly, I fear both our govt's are welcoming this disaster so they can claim "climate crisis crap!" 🤷🏻‍♀️ I do feel for you all though because I know it sux - big time!!! 🤗❤️ *love & hugs*

@rockscousteau no hunting today. I need rest. Beat down. Tired. I've got about 6 or 7 uploads in reserve to be made. I hit it hard this spring. I held back a paleo point for the 4 th of July. That's the next upload. Slight tip nic, but it has a base spur and ground on the base and up its sides. Small to medium sized deer hunters projectile. Site 1 and I found a large broken one to go with it. Also spurred. Last year I found a broken in the field adjacent. The site 1 complex was used at a minimum 10,500 to 2000 BP . Digging and surface hunting hard for years has brought a much greater understanding of the site and broader related insights ✌️😎
