Hello, this is WONHO.
I tried pilates for the first time in my life!
I don't really do stretches on a regular basis,
so it was much harder and exhausting than I expected.
As I tried it, I think this will definitely help people who mainly do muscular workouts.
Nevertheless, don't you think I'm pretty good for the first time? lol
I liked it because the instructor mainly taught me the postures that would be good for me.
I recommend pilates to you!

His eyes go HUGE when the stretching gets intense. But he still pushes through it! And actually, he's REALLY flexible for someone of his size/build.

yes, that something that I see many people don't understand, they think that he is not flexible. but it's cuz when you get more muscle u loose flexibility. that's normal.

@@sashew1440 that is the normal misconception made by those who're just watching it 😄 There's a lot of control involved and focus on posture and using the right muscles for the exercise. Not to mention different levels of resistance used

A lot of people associate being big and muscular to lacking in flexibility but having decent mobility is a big part of us not effing up our bodies with heavy lifting lol. There is this i follow here in yt: jujimufu. Hella buff and flexible. Lol

Height is a factor as well. Shorter people tend to be more flexible. I think Wonho is below the average height for a Korean guy.

I mean the gym exercise he does doesnt necessarily need all the stretching and flexibility work that pilates need, that's why he can get easily cramps in areas that he doesnt exercise regularly like pointing his feet.

@@migueldl4602 the focus of that exercise was the quads, which he wasnt using. He was relying too much on his calves/ankles for balance when he was supposed to be relaxing them.

Yeah I agree . He is used to gym workouts but pilates whuaaa it's really difficult !!?😍🤑😍😚 I admire his determination to show this to us. Great Wonho always take care.

He said it was his first time doing it, but not going to do it again. I'm agree with him, it's painful tho he's already doing tons of exercises

@@minhyukismxskey7286 I actually think he would greatly benefit from continuing Pilates or something similar, since it’s a totally different way of using your muscles than weight training. It also helps a lot with flexibility, which he needs for dancing/performing, so that he doesn’t injure himself, especially when he’s this buff.
Even though he couldn't complete some of the exercises he's too flexible for someone with that big built

He is a dancer, so flexibility is expected.

he is most likely dancing right after working out to keep his muscle memory otherwise he would be too stiff

@@Shiiwata that’s completly correct! I that also tell you how complete and well planed is his workout routine, because even with the dancing he also have to do body control exercises to be able to move so delicate while dancing. It’s really amazing, impressive and admirable for me.

I train weights and all the time I struggled while stretching/ pilates especially after my weight training day. I could cry every pilates session hahaha cause of DOMS but it's a good mobility /release. So yeah I'm like him too, can do push-ups like it's nothing but struggles with stretching.

@@mirahayob7681 yep I used to sweat more while doing stretching yoga than doing my workouts but with time it gets easier. One just have to do it every day and not to forget to breath xD

@@mirahayob7681 I’m the complete opposite of u, stretching to me is so easy just cuz over the years I’ve gotten flexible so it’s nothing to me but weights on the other hand.... it be so hard for me 😭😭😭

@@foozleshop5323 yup some of my friends can stretch so well too cause they have been doing yoga/pilates longer than me. Anyways I got interested in exercising bc of Wonho oppa a few years ago, and now has become my lifestyle.
It’s probably good that he incorporates some Pilates into his workout since he does so much weightlifting in order to keep his flexibility.

Yes! Working on one's flexibility and range of motion will help now and later in life. I hope he's able to incorporate a stretching routine with his gym regimen. Even an extended time of stretching warmups before his gym routine will be beneficial!

It hurts me just by watching and I have to admit that Wonho is amazing. He isn't ashamed to show his weaknesses and that he isn't perfect in everything. He doesn't try to make himself someone he is not. And that's what I love the most about him. Authenticity. On the other hand. These lessons can be really useful for him in terms of his dancing skills. His movements can be even more fluid and flexible. I am glad that he is working on himself all the time. His ambition and hard work are very motivating. Oh and for me he is perfect anyway ♡

I get your point but...did it ever cross your mind why boys who do ballet are on the skinny side? They also work on different muscles of their bodies. Hoseok made himself into a real John Sena but the bigger he got the less fluid and flexible he became. At least that's how I see it. I know it hella hurt him but that's because he has been building a different type of muscle all of these years.... However, if he masters these lessons there is a high chance he will return his flexibility back.

@@dumpling707 if I'm not mistaken Jeff avenue said that his choreo is hard bc of his muscles but it is incredible that he can do that it just shows that he practices everyday. Let's hope he continues doing pilates and gets easier for him with time.

Whenever the instructor complimented him or clapped when he did a move well, his face lit up, he’s soooo cute 🥺 our Hoho gives off such baby energy I can’t
Wonho did an exceptional job, he's gonna feels everything later on. Also he'll be needing an ice bath later haha. It's just so fun watching Wonho.

The pilates room looks so good and the teacher is good and so friendly. Wonho always has good teacher. I'm so grateful for that.

If you go into the subtitles and press settings you can change the subtitle size so it takes up less space

원호야 진짜 필라테스 꾸준히 해야해! 한번만으로도 척추 바르게 선게 목을 보고 느껴지는데... 진짜 꾸준히 하면 근육도 더 예쁘게 잡히고 자세도 좋아지고 여러모로 원호한테 완전 좋을것같아!! 꼭 꾸준히하기야ㅠㅠ 진짜루!!!!!

The instructor is so nice. She explains all the steps in detail. As expected, Wonho tries his best. And naturally he is so attractive that I can't take my eyes off him. It's really cool to experience something new. And besides it's a good way to explore your body's ability. P.S. Lee Hoseok is our source of motivation. Keep it up! ^_^

Yeah for pilates the instructor has to be very detailed because the body focus of each exercise is different

The Pilates trainer was so sweet , patient and she taught our precious Wonho so well. Wonho made all the funny faces so cute haha but he did all the Pilates exercises with his built he did very well , so proud of him :)

The fact that he did all of those moves and exercises perfectly, even though they were painful to do and he executed them so well! I'm so proud of him 🧿 To have all those muscles and do all these stretching is so hard for most people. I think he should get more massages 💆♂️ to relax his body.

Actually Pilates was originally formed by Joseph Pilates to help in rehabilitation of injured ww1 soldiers. it was first called contrology
