Had is a genius. Every section was uniquely inspired with a serious humor. Israeli audiences must be really talented and sensitive.

You don’t have to be a professional dancer to shine on the dance floor. They proved it here with the audience, just enjoy the time. It looked like a lot of fun…I wish I was there!

The music is a traditional song sung by participants at a Passover Seder (structured liturgical meal), and the title translates to, "Who Knows One?" It is a cumulative building lyric, sung with each new verse being added, and the the previous verses sung back in the reverse order they were introduced, a lá 12 Nights of Christmas. In this case, there are 13, and here is in animated video I found for you, using the same "Tractor's Revenge" (musicians) that Israeli choreographer of the dance, Ohad Naharin, selected for his piece. It provides the English and Hebrew, as well. Traditionally this song is included as one of the participation tools used at a Passover Seder ("Ordered" Meal), as the most important aspect of the Seder Process is as a vehicle for the children present to memorize of an encapsulated history of the Jewish people, and does so through the annual retelling of the Enslavement, Escape from, Transition away from, and safe arrival back in Israel following Moses through the desert. There are many reviews and on, one commentaries on the dance. I have my own ideas, or at least musings that the pairing of this dance to this song inspire in me, but of course it can be taken on many levels, many of them secular. Enjoy! kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y4yJj5WCpd22dag.html

Nothing really new. The audience on stage was happening a lot in the early 70s. To me it’s more body moving than real dance, except the duet on baroque music which is quite moving. The rest is only gesticulations.

Yes, it is probably exquisite theatre performed by actors with uncommonly good body control. They look as if they are real human beings; I for one couldn't help granting them that status. Not choreographed symbols, but their very selves navigating a labyrinth of learned expressions that each bore personal meaning.
