Can we just take a moment to appreciate the bird girl in red at the end of the song? Her emotion was phenomenal and I loved her energy. She really seemed to enjoy performing a lot ❤️❤️

Ikr? A lot of girls and women underestimate how much fun it can be to play one of the bird girls. Every time I've seen/been in Seussical, 99% of the time, women who auditioned to be Maisie or Gertrude got cast as a bird girl and kind of resent it. Most recently, my little brother did Seussical Jr. (He was the Cat in the Hat, I am so proud of him 🥰) and there were five bird girls. Every single one of them looked pissed off during Amazing Gertrude and my brother later told me they all auditioned for Gertrude and were often grouchy during rehearsals 😂 But honestly, being a bird girl can actually be _more_ fun than Gertrude or Maisie because you get to be very expressive and dance in nearly every song! (Mainly bc bird girls often double or even triple as fish in It's Possible and Hunches)

Now I’m here*slap* there’s no telling what may insue

I'm going to see this next Saturday night at a local civic theater it's their youth theater production in Richmond Indiana

(Ik im late) but my school is doing this and I’m so excited to see my role!! Either ensemble, Mrs Mayor, or one of the bird girls maybe? Those are what I enrolled for so Ill edit this post tomorrow!! 😅😂😅😂 Edit: I just got ensemble but I am so honoured to be in the musical! Also my friend got Mrs Mayor!!

It's not weird it's great

The Cat has the energy and the acting and set are good. The biggest problem is that cast is way too big, so they can't do anything because there is no room. But that's just my opinion😊

I HAVE TO THIS PLAY AT my school 😭 it is for little kids! Also all the dumb music kids are like acting like they can sing when like Their voices are flat. FUN FACT: a kid said acting is my life and then they sang worse then me. They have no idea what The wae to sing is.

they're just kids, cut them some slack; it's expected that they don't sing that well. besides, acting and singing are two different things.
