The lower pressure often affects sense of taste so much that food are cooked with more salt and spices than usual. The mold spots should have cauted the concern but altered taste is rather frequent on flights.

It has, and it hasn't been as bad as I expected. I EXPECTED a lot of disgruntled employees suffering serious health consequences from the "safe and effective" they felt forced to take, might throw more than a spanner in the works of their employers. SO FAR, there's only been limited "incidents" (but there again, most people are in complete denial about the consequences of the "safe and effective" anyway).

Hospital food is actually pretty good and they have a healthy variety of foods to please most everyone...ex-girlfriend worked at a hospital and we would have lunch there almost daily and then when my mom had heart surgery, i ate that hospitals food and it was really good as well...and when my grandma was in the nursing home, i tried there lunch menu and it was good too:)

I remember airlines just gave you de-population peanuts and maybe a boiled sweet just big enough to clog the airways!

I've only flown twice and was never on a flight long enough to serve a meal. I also don't intend to ever fly again because of all of what I've heard about the TSA and so forth. The last time I flew was before 9/11.

I had food poisoning TWICE on long flights and since then I never eat on planes. Vomiting six hours straight on my first day of holiday is my idea of fun. The second time I wanted to die I was so sick on the plane and was the last to leave the plane because I couldn't stop being sick.
