Using scrappy strips & pieces is one of my favorite card making techniques for making quilt cards. Even if the scraps I grab out of my pile don't seem like they go together, just getting them down and cutting off the overhang always reveals something wondrous. I'm happy other people enjoy doing it, too. More, please.🙂 It's been a long weekend of March Madness basketball for me so I'm off to see what the others have done. Thanks for the good start.

I would like a card map! That’s like a puzzle ❤️ Your card is pretty and I could see this pattern of strips being used to make Christmas trees, hearts etc. The silver flecks give the project a festive look🌈

So similar to mine in regards to paper. We picked patterned paper with the foil or metallic! Cute card! Love the rainbow colors and the vellum is a great touch! 😊

Hi Alicia. I am not doing too well. I have an overall 15% kidney function. I have been battling for almost a year. I've been in and out of hospital and I was even in a coma in intensive care last December, including Christmas. Trust you are well.

Lovely card! I actually clicked on this thinking it was a way to use up scraps from this month’s Sheetload. I’m using a 6x6 paper pad and I have some extra scraps I haven’t used yet that would probably work for this design!

Beautiful! I have that paper pad and love it! It's about 2/3 gone😢 but now I know I can make some great cards with my scraps. When you said your embellishments were diamond dots are you talking about the ones you put on the canvases to fill in pretty pictures? I hadn't thought of using those! Thank so much.
