I just got mine today. 4:42 They say you need to stick it with the adhesive; however on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with a MagSafe compatible charger I didn’t have to use the adhesive. I left the label on the back and it holds as firmly or even better than my other magnetic phone grips. So far I really like it. It’s my first OhSnap product. Seems the past models have got mixed reviews but this is a very nice grip. Love that I can charge through it too. And the blue is a perfect match for my blue titanium phone.

Yes but if you do not stick it to your phone it will get left behind on any MagSafe mounts (or magnetic surface like a fridge)

@@Oopsiedaisy861 you are 100% correct. But that is the same with any magnetic phone grip. I've tried several and they all stay stuck to the MagSafe mount. My OhSnap doesn't stay stuck to the fridge or gym equipment tho. Just rhe MagSafe charger. A small price to pay to be able to to swap one OhSnap between several cases. $40 x5 to cover all my cases...OR 5 seconds of my time to take it off the MagSafe charger. Also I like to swap to other grips for different use case scenarios. My Torras ring for example makes a MUCH better portrait stand. And landscape for that matter.

Pop socket is a waaaay more comfortable hold. Idk snap 4 feels to chintzy and loose. My wrists get tired after awhile of using it and is always in tension trying to keep a steady grip

I'm a pop socket user and got my husband and I Snap 4 grips. I'm nervous to switch over. It seems so thin but they say it can handle 1 million pops. I guess I need to just try it lol

If you use a case do you need a magsafe case to be compatible with the Snap 4, or can you stick it on any type of case even if it's not magsafe? Thank you.

I really like ohsnap. @ 00:14 & 01:43 somehow you doubled/repeated a segment of your video. @ 08:41 I wouldn't recommend sticking the phone on a large flat surface (without a case), as the camera bump will protrude farther than the magnet, pushing against the surface and creating a gap between part of the magnet and the surface. meaning the actual magnetic force is greatly reduced

I've used the previous version for over a year, just ordered the new one. I'll never use a pop socket again. These are so much better

I’m also wondering if you test it with a case if it will charge. Will be looking for the 30 day update

The luxe 4 made both my wife’s and my own MagSafe charger, and probably the battery inside super hot. Almost too hot to touch. We’re using the 15 pro and pro max. I’m guessing the luxe is somehow disturbing the communication between the pro hone and charger so it doesn’t stop pouring voltage into the phone, completely negating the “safe” in MagSafe. I’m going back to my pop socket and returning this garbage. I don’t care how thin it is I’d rather not replace my phone or battery because of a $40 piece of aluminum and plastic.

There was no guess work on my S24 ultra. It stuck just fine. And now I can mag safe charge like the cool kids.😂

I have a magsafe case for my S22 Ultra, so this will work just fine like an iPhone. I ordered one of these in November and I haven’t received it yet. I'm not planning to use the adhesive, as it will grip just fine to my case.

Do NOT rely on this product to stay on the phone. This product will stay connected better to the other object than it does on the phone side - if you use this product at all, absolutely use the adhesive, but honestly either way it won't properly hold in all situations.

It doesnt open at any angke like the pop socket. So you dont get the same ease of opening at every angle. Which also means you may have to turn it after opening to get your fingers in.

The question is how hard is this to get off with the adhesive if you want to remove it

Interesting, wireless charging works fine with my iPhone 13 Mini + Incipio Duo (for MagSafe) Case + OhSnap 3 Pro on my Mophie Snap+ Wireless Charging Stand. I think it just depends on what case you have.

I was using a Belkin 3-in-1 charger which is MagSafe certified. I ordered a S4 Luxe yesterday so we’ll see if I have better luck.

Yup, at least with bigger phones, it won't work in portrait - falls over very easily, and honestly even in landscape it doesn't seem *incredibly* sturdy.

It at least gets pretty hot when charging with an android wireless charger so.. I would expect the same from mag safe.

It’s removable and you can re-adhere it to your phone! Also, the adhesive is nice when you want to use other MagSafe devices with it. You can use any MagSafe accessories without taking it off.

@@pvfeB7Ax Your highness? I’m humble as humble pie. Why because I don’t like to attach a phone accessory to my phone with adhesive? Many don’t! You can never reuse them afterwards because the adhesion won’t hold up and it ruins the case.

The adhesive on this product is *terrible* and it will come off from sticking it to anything metal, as well as from daily use if you put any strain between the phone and the luxe (eh: having a big phone & reaching over to the other side of the screen while using the luxe)... Scary experience & would not trust this product 100%. Also, will not stick to every material case properly, but that's *sort of* fine since you can't expect a magic silver-bullet solution for everything. Adhesing directly to the metal phone though, should not be having issues with staying on...

Good to use if you’re in your teens. But if your using pop sockets in your 30’s or worse 40’s sweet Jesus NO!!! Just NO!!

I'm a Pop Socket fan. I don't like the Snap 4. Doesn't really look like the Snap 4 is going to last. Looks cheap. The grap doesn't look confortable. Thank you for sharing and reviewing the product for us.

It *feels* like a solid product, but function-wise it falls short. Wouldn't completely trust it to hold my expensive phone.
