Oh Sanguk 오상욱, Korea, is an absolute monster of a fencer. Strategy, technique, reach, Korean funding and facilities, he has it all. Oh Sanguk 오상욱 is the most consistent Men's Sabre fencer of the Rio to Tokyo Olympics cycle by winning 3 World Cups, 4 Grand Prix, 1 Asian Championship, 1 World Championship, and held the position of World Number 1 in the seasons of 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.
Oh Sanguk 오상욱 has also been the anchor of the Korean Mens Sabre Fencing 펜싱 Team for the entirety of the Rio to Tokyo Olympics Cycle, where the Korean Team won almost every FIE team sabre fencing 펜싱 event, including every World Championships between the seasons of 2016-17 to 2019-2020.
This compilation showcases Oh Sanguk's 오상욱 performance at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games - Men's Sabre Fencing 펜싱 (both individual and team). Oh Sanguk 오상욱 won the final Men's Sabre Fencing 펜싱 event before 2021 Tokyo Olympics - Budapest 2021 Men's Sabre Grand Prix - however, after returning to Korea, Oh Sanguk 오상욱 tested positive for COVID-19 in March 2022 and was hospitalised for one month.
At the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Oh Sanguk 오상욱 placed in the Top 8 in the Men's Sabre Fencing 펜싱Individual event, and won the Gold Medal with Team Korea for Men's Sabre Fencing 펜싱 Team event.

Thank you!!! I wanted to make a Oh compilation back when I made the Orleans Highlights video, but I couldn't find a song that I liked so I just made one without music. It was hard to find a 'right song' because I wanted something that hit hard but also slowed down at times to show off his fall-short-marches. Then I heard WANT recently and thought, 'Perfect. This will do.'

Many said top 8 individual was a dissapointed, but he diagnosed with Covid and lose to Bazadze which I thought weren't that big upset, he just lack of experience. Instead, it could be a bigger leap and bigger motivation for Oh, and also get the experienced from this Olympics could help him in the next one. Come back stronger, Oh Sanguk ^^

You're right about Bazadze winning not being that big of an upset. But I don't even think it's fair to say that Oh lacks experience anymore. He has won more events since 2017 compared to most fencers do in their entire careers. Sometimes fencers just lose, that's just fencing.
