My positive thoughts are on Risey's recovery. I know what it feels like to have my horse have a serious injury. Everyone is rooting for his recovery. Wunder is such a handsome boy! It's a joy to watch his spunkiness. The others all look great too. I like that you gave them a little 'free time' to watch the hot air balloon. It was fun watching them.

Their behavior is so "cat-like" sometimes! They know what the human wants, but they'll get around to it when they want. I always think of the phrase "like herding cats" when Yvonne is getting them to go into the stable and stalls.😁

This is one of my favorite videos. I think it reflects everything that you, Yvonne, bring to your channel. On one level it’s just a pleasure to come along with you on your evening chores. And on another level it is deeply meditative and a lesson in being present in the moment. Another followers commented on how lovely it was that you let the horses linger to watch the balloons and frisk around a bit before they went in to the stable. That’s what i mean. Every aspect of this time with you and the horses is thoroughly felt and lived and sharing this is a real gift. So, thank you.

Yes Saly has beautiful soft, gentle eyes. I don’t know if other horse owners agree but I can always pick the sex of a horse by just looking at their facial features and eyes. Dogs also. Once you’re familiar with the differences it’s really easy to tell. I get the occasional one wrong (where a gelding might have more ‘mare like’ features and vice versa.) You can’t mistake Sally’s features for that of a gelding/stallion

It is beautiful in Friesland staying light out so late in the day - not so in the Fall of the year here in Charlotte, North Carolina while visiting family at Thanksgiving time! Gets dark outside around 5:00pm / so its wonderful to see Summer on an older video👏👏. Thanks tremendously, Yvonne and Friesian Horses 👏👏🐴🐎❤️💕

Have always marveled at that... She could move away, at any time, but chooses to follow.... But in bit and harness, becomes obstinate, wanting to go home to her herd..... Uniek is a mystery at times.... But Yvonne understands her well! Lisa.

He is for sale at Stal Okkema. Unfortunately, he does not meet the requirements to become a breeding stallion. Just like Pieter. We will see the gentlemen a few more times in the videos because I am always a little behind in posting. After that no more Rinse Janko and Pieter... As soon as I am ready I will also provide more information about Rising Star. Unfortunately, this is not yet possible for me. I have had him looked at by many vets, treated him, etc.. for now he gets time... Aah such a shame, will miss those gorgeous boys, used to be the three musketeers, but I know Rein will make sure they go to very good homes, look forward to seeing g them a few more times.

The beginning of the video with Coralle and the other horses looking towards the sun gives the idea that they are waiting for the dawn of the next day ❤

Clearly, as it was a beautiful evening, they didn't want to go in. Wunder just zoomed about getting the mares, except the Queen, running too. Love it when they all try to get in the same stall. Yfke's little neigh was sweet and she just loves her milk. Thank you for today's wonderful video. ❤️💕🐎🇬🇧

Yfkes decided that the human is in need of some grooming attention and while she’s at a cuddle is in order as well,her little nickers are the sweetest. The Queens shoes are always Royally Lucky in my opinion Uniek brings so much joy to so many subjects she’s the Queen of all our hearts.🖤🧡🐎👑

Wunder looks almost bored, like he can’t find some trouble to get into. Then he finds Yfke to torment. He is like a big brother. The horses are beautiful. I hope that all the herd members had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, I don’t know of any other name for it in other countries. They are well aware of the magic scoop.

Hello All! I have some questions and if anybody knows for sure or almost please help answer them for me? Does Yvonne plan on keeping Corella after she delivers and weans Uniek newest foal? Is Corella a show horse or special breed or was health and successful healthy pregnancies with healthy foals the primary reasons for picking her? It would be awesome if the "Mom's" bonded and raised their foal together! I realize that that's not always the case. 😢 Do you have any word or 🙏 that Rosey's feeling better and will heal? Was he hurt beyond that cut on his leg? Could Risey have picked up a systematic infection from that injury? There's a flesh eating microbe that literally does that - my oldest granddaughter was infected when she slipped on a stage when she was young! I hope not - but as fast as things in our time and world are showing us what we thought was a defined situation - it no longer has the same answer. What was it that the Judges said that Rinse Jenko and Pieter didn't have to make them qualify to become Friesian's breeding Stallions?? Sorry if there are too many questions, but if I don't ask, I won't get answers! 😊 Thank you all at Friesian Horses - Stal G and Stal H and beyond for your answers in advance!!

I will try to help you.....yvonne does not own corella so she would have to buy her and we do not know if she will do that , she came from a stable where they specialize in surrogate foals for this purpose, there is no additional info on risy's condition, the stallion test is a very rigorous 10 step test....only 4 to 8 stallions make the stud book each year.....you can down load the test to view it at the top of the page under the pinned comment,.....MOD greg

I believe so as well that Risey could make it as a stud, he had the most potential to me amongst the all the colts we've seen in this channel, especially being a descendant of 'Jazz' who was KWPN's greatest stallion.

All we know right now is that Riseys lame we don’t know the cause but he’s getting the absolute best care Yvonne can provide at Stal H with Uniek close by and she’s leaving no stone unturned to try to help keep him comfortable as well as treating him. She will share more information with us in the future when she’s ready I know it’s difficult not knowing but this situation is a thousand times more difficult for Yvonne as Risy is her boy and she’s going through this challenge with him. She’s asked for patience and we need to give her that as this is her way that she’s opted to go about sharing with us. Everything will come out in time Shannon MOD🐎🧡

The horses seemed distracted and disorganized more than usual today. That hot air balloon impressed them quite a bit :-)

Oh the dredded feather itch of winter. Ok not sure if u have tried this for it but the vanners and the Clydesdales get it to. We use diatomaceous earth. Rub it right in the feathers good, then comb the hair. They leave white pools when walking but it's all natural and kills the mites

@lisajoyaslanis yes safe for all ppl and environment. We do wear a mask while applying because of the fine powder. Diatomaceous earth os made up of ground up shells. It scratches the mites body and shell dehydrating them so they die. I also use barn Lyme in stalls every time I clean them before rebedding. Look it up. Can be ordered online. Also helps to keep feathers or socks white

Burner from balloon can frighten horse's. Imagine an entire event fly over. It's maddening and cause accidentally injury with fear. Uniek is Queen 👑 and love Wunder curiosity and sense of independence. Enjoy your week ❤

This video was filmed over the summer on July 20th so no worries Yvonne will have had all her shoes replaced by now(most horses who are shod get new ones every 6 weeks)

Looks like....Yfke has no choice , but to grow big and healthy....with all she is fed each day... Having 2 Mems must be heaven for a little filly, with a hungry belly.... Lisa

They are all playing like petulant kids in not wanting to go in the barn. Distract the mother so we can play outside! Yfke is just so wonderfully sweet and her mother... Sweet Coralle.♥♥♥♥♥♥
