Oh My Goodness! - Metal Detecting an Old Stagecoach Road Finds MORE Amazing Colonial SILVER & Coins!
Ойын-сауық
If you saw last weeks Metal Detecting video we were trying to location an old 1700's homestead that was tore down well before the Civil War. The old maps show remnants of a stagecoach route that cut through a modern day farm, so we had a good feeling this homesite should be somewhere along that route. After getting permission from the farmer we set out to detect along this long lost road in hopes of finding the where the structure once stood. From the moment we got to where this road was we were finding old coins, buttons, buckles, and even a record breaking 19 sleigh bells; but as we got closer and closer to where the homesite might have been the finds just starting multiplying! So many old coins and fantastic period relics were flying out of the ground that we lost count but we pressed on down the road. Around an hour or so before dark we finally found the area where the home most likely stood. There were tiny pieces of red brick scattered around the area and we started finding dozens of square nails that probably held the dwelling together centuries ago. By this time it was almost dark and we had a long walk back to the trucks so we left with an amazing assortment of colonial coins and artifacts, but we return next week and concentrate just on this house area, so tune in for that one as well, ias those finds were even more chaotic!

You may never see this but I stumbled onto one of your videos and am now hooked. I lost my grandfather a few years ago and Doug is a spitting image of my grandpa before he got sick. Even his hands are similar. I’m big into fossil hunting(sharks teeth) and I now want to try metal detecting! Please tell Doug thanks for being so awesome and looking the way he does! Lol You guys are all great!
Awesome finds guys found my first v nickel last week 1884.
Todays theme ... "BIG COPPER!!!" all-day!
Hi Jason and crew, Thanks for sharing another fabulous hunt. I sent Quarter Hoarder an email last week saying I wanted to buy the Minelab Equinox 800 and the six inch coil for it and he sent me back a couple links and a coupon code. When I put in the code there was a $113.00 discount but free shipping went away. Shipping was $33.00 so he saved me $80.00. Thanks Jason!
You guys are nuts! Thank you for the entertainment. I love seeing you guys having so much fun. Thank you all for making me laugh. I hope you continue to find real treasures and have fun doing it.
Thanks for the videos. There fun to watch. Very good videos I'm for sure sub cuz im getting in to metal detecting and going to get my 7 year old son in to it to.
Some cool stuff. Wow he’s a big boy. The only thing I think he would bend down that far for and dig a hole would be a Twinkie.
In England on Sunday 18/4/2021 a fellow detectorist from my club found an 1833 Liberty Cap 5 Cent. Unusually it wasn't holed as a charm it is a full coin. 😊.
You killed it today really nice finds espally the reals and coppers like that shoe buckle
This site is unbelievable. You all have had so much fun there.
I'm jealous of all these prime spots!! I live by the South Texas/ Mexico border. We dont find stuff like this. Of the 10+ yrs I have been detecting, my best and oldest coin was an 1836 8 real. Awesome videos!

Man that field is a treasure trove..crazy nice finds..congrats boys..ya nickel nibler would like👍
How do you restore the coins without damaging numismatic value? A video on that would be really interesting to coin collectors.
