It instinctively clings to avoid falling out of trees or being taken by predators. Seeing as how those are no longer things it has to worry about (despite it not realizing this) and moms lack of fur, these urges no longer serve a purpose, and it would be best to break these habits.

The milk flows too quickly from the bottle to provide any comfort, too.
