Yes,Russian is a very colorful language and Diana is more than on top of her craft, when she uses her native tongue, performing these strong, folkloric songs. It seems,there's always some extra power, some extra emotion and expression to her performance. I like this song very much, it breaths some force of nature and vulnerability of humanity.

Hartelijk dank! Ik had niet verwacht dat je een lied in het Russisch zou kiezen... Maar het is in het Russisch dat Diana ook zonder vertaling begrijpelijk is. De Russische taal is rijk, en ik voel het als ik vertaal via Yandex. Alleen de Betekenis wordt overgedragen, maar de kleuren gaan verloren... Persoonlijk zag ik "Showmaskgoon" als een voordeel van Diana, hoewel de andere deelnemers erg goed waren... Individuele kamers zijn de hoogste lof waard! Diana op deze show was de jongste (18) en niet verwend door het grote podium zoals de andere deelnemers. Er waren 9 nominaties, verschillende genres, waar Diana 100% mee omging. Basically it's about a young Cossack who has a dream of loosing his hat because of an evil wind on the battlefield but doesn't understand the dream as he saw it, so he goes to his Captain and the Captain explains that what he saw is his own death at the upcoming battle! Ну не совсем от имени Разина, Разин был атаман, это высшее воинское звание у казаков и вряд ли он стал бы слушать есаула(младшего офицера) Тот неизвестный казак скорее собирательный образ воина казака который готовится к сражению и естественно волнуется перед боем.

А насчёт другого названия этой песни как: Сон Степана Разина есть много разных интерпретаций.Есть ещё одно название: Сон молодого Козака, а ведь Разин когда возглавил войско уже не был юношей.

Не стоит считать казаков безбашенными отморозками(ну не более других); осторожность была естественным качеством вожака, ведь цена ошибки - поражение всего войска, а гибель атамана означала скорее всего гибель его соратников и конец общего дела. К тому же, ничто не мешало атаману провести беседу с советником с глазу на глаз, чтоб не сеять в войске смуту. В свою очередь молодой казак, по-вашему, прям испереживался бедненький, весь такой из себя неопытный и боязливый? Или они все с детства видели кровь и смерть? Да любой молодец просто бы отогнал от себя дурные мысли, делов-то. На самом деле, наша дискуссия - лишь вопрос интерпретации, т.е попытка разгадать намерения автора песни. Я считаю что это "Сон Степана Разина"

Пелагея, конечно, великолепная певица, поёт эту песню, демонстрируя прекрасные краски голоса и широкий диапазон, особенно в высокой тесситуре, но поёт её, извините, как колыбельную, как будто не понимает, что эта песня - трагическая, о предчувствии скорой неминуемой смерти человека. Диана же сделала акцент как раз на эмоции, соответствующие трагическому смыслу. Поэтому для меня вариант Дианы однозначно предпочтительней оболожке Пелагеи, поскольку смысл всегда ставлю в приоритет.👸🌠
