I miss when Tekken had _modes_ . Unfortunately, the focus towards online is sucking the fun out of singleplayer in fighting games - in Tk7 the only "content" post-"story" is Treasure Battle... or the Bowl DLC. Arcade is just... meh.

I can forgive that they didn't have budget for Tekken 7 since they were on the verge of series bankruptcy after TTT2. I think Tekken 8 will make up for the lack of content in Tekken 7.

I enjoy treasure mode but it does get old after a while. I personally had no idea Tag 2 was a financial failure. That game looks amazing. And it was filled to the brim with offline content.

@@jvjv8093 this exactly pretty much, if you remember ttt2, they didn't hold back at all and they put everything into that game they could think of, down to the vast amount of unique throws, win poses, intro poses, ending cutscenes and so on tekken 8 is probably gonna have one hell of a budget so they likely won't let us down

Loading times are dogshit with SSD and slow with mods so there's zero point to implement it. Might as well go back to lobby and change the characters.

Out of the Tekken games 3 and 5 are my absolute favorites the stages in 5 are amazing i love them and the music in 3 is one of my favorites too and game play on both games are spectacular. Tekken ball is my favorite like non arcade story mode in 3 i forget if 5 has one.

This should be standard the sidestep for Tekken 7, and it must to be included in the next ones. No more free homing mids safe on block.

You're so on point about the character personas and expressions going backwards.

I love the fact these are lore matches. Also, I do root for Yoshimitsu.

No, they shouldn't. That's a horrible idea. Being forced to watch while your friend is in sounds extremely frustrating. Tekken isn't meant for co-op.

Just watched tmm as a final boss. He’s an awesome streamer, the combos and details of the game but that’s all he is unlike other streamers whose as good on tourneys as they play on streams. For entertainment and basic purposes, tmm is the guy to watch. Hope he’ll be as great in tourneys someday.

Honestly, now thinking about it, I really miss the days when you had to play the story mode to unlock new fighters Now, just imagine for a moment, if you will, that T7 would also use this mechanic to unlock new fighters while also retaining everything else. Dunring online matches you would encounter a fighter in online play you don't have and thought never knew existed in the game and then a treasure hunt ensues where you look up information on how to get him/her/it and try to get him, just for the gratification that from now on you can learn him/her/it in training mode to play in online matches, giving other people the same feeling of excitement you got, after first encountering this fighter. Sound cool to me, actually

I feel like Tekken 7 cut half the winposes. Why does Bryan only seem to have two now? Anyway, some of the tk7 intros are fine... though I'm not entirely sure who hired the cameraman for that one Asuka's intro.

It's still in Tekken 7, it's regular attack reversal. I think it's b+2+4...? To get the powerbomb animation, it has to be used against certain moves like King's Frankensteiner.

Team Battle as a competitive thing would be quite cool, it'd have a pretty unique spin to it and it'd be fun to see players think less on specific match ups and more team structure.

This really speaks volumes about how far fighting games have come over the years. What was considered TAS in the past is now just basic gameplay.

Because of TAS (Tool Assist Speedrun) the AI always reads your inputs thats why it whiffs...

If it was the best T5 Steve player theoretically possible, no other player would even be able to win against that character to begin with.
