These young non-English singers are just amazing. Mastering a second language, while honing your craft, is quite the accomplishment.

Even at 10yo Diana had the presence, vocal ability and power voice. 4 years after this when she performed "Rechenka" she gives a phenomenal performance for a 14yo, damn, it's a phenomenal for any age! Great reaction.

Another good one when she was 12 is called Yodel Time, might be spelled Jodel Time, and it shows he extraordinary yodeling skills which manifests itself in some of her later works. Although she didn’t win that competition, it still propelled her career. Then there’s It’s a Man’s World cover of a James Brown hit before you get to Rechenka. That sequence might give you a better linear view of her vocal progress.

I had the original video of all 3 elements combined, no idea what happened to it but i do have the other take without interview ! Diana was invited to this radio station for an interview and after the interview they asked if she could sing the song for them, she had not rehearsed, just got up and she sang it BUT she did it 'A CAPELLA' !! Я эту песню прослушал много раз , и не перестаю восхищаться её мастерством - спеть без подготовки, с первого раза, так, как будто это запись , обработанная в студии, с которой удалены все возможные неточности и шероховатости. Я специально переслушивал, чтобы найти хоть малейшую, микроскопическую помарку, но не нашёл ничего - всё сделано идеально. Как такое возможно для 10-летнего ребёнка - это загадка. Причём, не зная языка, все слова произнесены без единой даже интонационной ошибки, как будто Диана прожила в Англии несколько лет - об этом говорят даже англоязычные слушатели.Отличная реакция на невероятную и неповторимую Диану!
