Story explanation:
The intro begins with the final part of the comic when Batpaw (dark gray tom with purple eyes) finds Heatherpath (the black shadow or white and purple she-cat with golden and pink eyes) standing over the corpse of Fawn. After the intro the story cuts back to event from before God Swap, when Heatherpath is visited by StarClan in her sleep and given the task to help destroy Hestia (the brown and white fossa with golden eyes) and make the Deep Root's cats believe in StarClan.
(Deep Roots is a group who was previously a clan but got destroyed in an accident (before StarClan even existed). They created a group, hid in the ruins/tunnels away from the clans and took Hestia as their god and the symbol of sun.)
Heatherpath acceps their quest and pretends to be Hestia while StarClan manages to keep Hestia quiet, as she's no longer able to communicate with the Deep Roots cats anymore.
Meanwhile a bunch of clan cats, Batpaw and Runningpaw (golden tom with golden eyes) are captured by the Deep Roots cats when they wander into the tunnels. Not long afterm, Batpaw somehow manages to communicate with Hestia only for a brief moment for her to tell him "Don't let the heather stain the sun with blood" before he wakes up. Cut back to the final scene again Heatherpath explains how she knows Batpaw from before and how "she couldn't kill him". We see Heatherpath on a gathering when she spots Stormcloud (dark she-cat from the clans) telling Forest Light (brown tom from the Deep Roots) about their kits, Batkit and Blueberrykit. Blueberrykit and Batkit decide to go into the Fallen Forest (old territory of the fallen clan) and Blueberrykit is killed by Heatherpath while Batkit is rescued in time. Cut back to the final scene, Heatherpath attacks Batpaw and is about to kill him when Runningpaw and Rebelliouswave (the Deep Roots leader) stop her and cast her away.
