I really like Haruka and I feel she's very much underappreciated by the community - so I made this video compiling scenes from Season 1 of Hibike! Euphonium to highlight her qualities as a supportive friend and as a leader trying their best.

She's the person who looks very adult like and always try her best to act like a leader, but has a soft spot and a crybaby on the inside. Love her personality so much..

晴香は香織のことを「あすか派のくせに～」と言うけど、この2人のやり取りってすごくいいよね。要所要所でお互いがフォローし合ってて、深い絆を感じます。香織が晴香の家にお見舞い？行ったシーンなんか最高✨

I saw the tite and thumbnail and thought this was a 1 hour long video essay about why Haruka is a great character but this is even better

Hmm...Perhaps I'll have to make that? ;) I do genuinely have some ideas around a Haruka "video essay" that have been on the back-burner for a while though. Hopefully I'll be able to get around to it soon!

27:50からの香織先輩との会話が印象深い新生北宇治高校吹奏楽部部長として引っ張っていく姿にリーダーとしての悩みや苦しみを感じた。その思いが2代目優子部長、3代目部長へと受け継がれていったんでしょう。マジで推しメンです😀
