I used to remmeber playing doors in its OG days (couple of days after it came) shit was popular as hell, I remember joining with a player to understand about the game, and I wanted help in what I had to do, I remember talking to him about what the lore is like, is it never ending? Well. He said he can't get pass seek, and he ALSO told me about all the creatures names as we encountered em, (yeah played with him in a couple of more games out of interest for doors) when I got to 30 I was thinking it was rush tryna kill me when it was actually jus tthe eyes popping out. Soon I met seek. I remember how dang pumped but terrified I was due to music, and that tyrant chasing me, I tried crouching, but actually it was automatic, like there were actual qcrawl animations and shit. Proper shit. I died tho. Thats my take on some first time gameplay of the OG DOORS

Here's another fun fact: you probably know that the old seek used to turn off the lights. And you can only see in black and white and also there's a lot of text like "YOU CANT RUN." And the worst part is that there's no guiding light you have to do it all by yourself.

The model looks accurate to 2020 seek during development. But the devs thought he was to overpowered because during the chase scene. He makes the rooms dark. And the beginning of the cutscene a quick jumpscare appears during the cutscene

The devs removed the model because the parts weren't moveable in any way and seek was just standing in one pose. The model in the video is a recreation and remaster of it
