All these interviews been special and had a lot of history, but for a lot of reasons this one has been the most intriguing for me. The rift with Jimel Barnes and Tookie, the whole rift with Bro Sanyika's book, the insight on life after being fresh out, the amazing struggle of doing that much time and facing so many more cases that could have locked him away forever says a lot for this brother to be free and still in his right mind. That kind of drama (and less) breaks a whole lot of people

When I hear these veterans talk, it makes me realize just how miseducated the world is when it comes to the dynamics of L.A. street gangs and their history. The folk lure is so mythological that you tend to forget that these are real people with real families and not cartoon characters. Politicians, police & hollywood made careers off of these people's suffering and struggle. Gang injunctions aside, I see why LA gangs don't need to rock colours these days. The rules are so embedded in stone that those who's supposed to know jist knows. Big up yourself, Kev. Much love coming from Canada. These interviews really opened my eyes to some real shit that my older heads couldn't teach.

Shit, fuck doing life. I did 4 years on the mainline. I haven't been back and I don't plan to either. 4 years was enough for me. If I ever see the people that testified against me, I'm just going to keep it pushin. Why go back? My life is good now. Way better then when I was bangin. At the end of the day, those people testified against me but I sent myself to prison by committing crimes. It's called being accountable. As for the lifers, the reason why they keep getting denied parole is they don't want to admit to their crime and give "insight" on what they did. They feel like giving "insight" is telling on yourself. Therefore, they keep getting denied, hearing after hearing till they finally wake up and get with the program. A lifer will never make parole in the CDC until he admits to his crime and gives "insight" on what he did

Since the Inglewood Famz is cool with 83gc , maybe it's time for a three way truce between IFG, ETG and RSC... how many brothers have lost their lives from the viscous cycle between these three hoods combined violence on each other. You see I grew up in the apex of these hoods which is Florence & Van Ness, I got homies and relatives from all these hoods.. maybe it's time for reputable OG's from all three hoods to have a round table discussion concerning peace among these hoods

This is a smart and articulate cat,Kev if he writes a book, hit me up on this venue,I want the first or at least a top 10 copy. What I dig most about Pretty Boy is that he is not bragging he is just telling it and putting nothing on it.Yo man great, great, interview, thank you.....Yo Pretty it is time to put your name in print, you will undoubtedly make a million or more. Peace.

Great interview. 32 years of your life gone living in prison. And come out with a good attitude and not be out to still seek revenge. Just let alone surviving prison and getting out. Too many will never see freedom and will die and be carried out of prison.

Damn Kev,I was already loving these interviews but damn, you and Pretty Boy took it way back. There's so much shit youngsters today don't know bout how things were at one time.Like having 50 fools standing around a street corner throwing up the hood at passing cars, doing that broad daylight shit, literally getting away with murder, having allies, and everything not being so fucken racial like it is now.And that rare tidbit of history about the RSC14...DAAAAMN!!That's a perfect example of mutual respect and loyalty.I'm originally from the South Bronx, but moved to L.A. in the 6th grade,so I was able to witness hispanics with jheri curls sagging talking bout "Sup cuzz",and also blacks with hairnets talking bout "Where you from ese". LOL.. I was born in 1971,and in those days in NY,hispanics and blacks were one.So I ain't ever been with that racial shit nor do I condone or accept it today. Not that I'm blind to the fact that there is alot of hate between the 2 races in California, which is a sad fucken truth. This is probably my favorite interview sofar (although I like them all).Shiiiiit if it was up to me I'd love to cee a Part 4,5,6,......LOL Much love and respect to you and OG Pretty Boy.

Morocco Scoob, the 90s on Vermont were no longer Hoovers when that transition took place. They were West Coast 90s, then they added the NeighborHood. They then proceeded to press the Western side 90s who were Gangsters, to turn NeighborHood. This was in 1987. I remember me and my homies were at J.O. (Jessie Owens Park) and the West Coasts came up there with bats looking for the 90GCs.
