Its a very interesting and cute dynamic they have since in their own families, Seonghwa and Hongjoong are the youngest, yet they are the eldest in ateez, and Jongho is the eldest in his family, yet he is the maknae in ateez haha

I think that's why their roles shift constantly because in informal and more relaxed settings, Sh and Hj lapse into more playful and mischievous individuals, while Jongho really stands out as a maknae who naturally doesn't behave like a maknae (ie he takes care of other members a lot) But because he's the youngest, the members are proud of his maturity and let him lead them around because they love seeing him confident and independent just as much as they love having him as the baby of the team.

oh wow, that's just like Seventeen! the leader (and oldest) Coups is the youngest in his family so he acts like the maknae a lot, and our maknae Dino is the oldest in his so he's not used to being the youngest at all! wow, I feel like a bad atiny for not knowing this lmao. just goes to show how similar my two favorite groups are!

what makes wooyoung moving to KQ so precious was that wooyoung and yeosang were Big Hit trainees and wooyoung was at the top of the group (?) and he was expected to debut in txt, but when yeosang left he left too and that just makes it so much more personal 🥺

The growl cover was shown because the second verse in the cover is original coro the ground created

This guide is good for introduction but doesn't show enough of their personalities or abilities. You should check also "This video will make you fall inlove with all 8 members of ATEEZ" :) Yunho and Mingi trained in the same dance studio before auditioning for KQ without the other member knowing, I think you missed that also Yeosang and Wooyoung trained in Big Hit

I noticed that the members pronounce Yunho as Yuno so I think you're fine. They tend to put more of the H in Jongho though, I don't know why they're different.

When consonant ㅇ comes to the final consonant in Hangul we usually pronounce the next word's consonant continually. Thats where the difference comes from.(yuno and jongho) sorry for my bad english😭and even if you cant understand my explanation, you may easily know by speedily pronouncing each of his name yunho and yuno. You can see "yuno" is pronounced more easily than yunho

@@user-qr5xi5sf3z Thank you for your explanation! But yes, that applies to every language, it's usually pronounced in a more 'easy' way. I don't speak Korean by any means but I did notice how in some names certain letters are pronounced (such as Jongho) but in others they aren't (such as Yunho). I guess it helps I like languages and studied one so... also good luck with your English if you decide to learn it ^^

the members pronounce yuno, so i pronounce yuno too

San normally is not have a role in dance. He just a vocalist. But after he backs from US, he started to be like this. And having a crazy stage presence.. and also hongjoong once said on his vlive with seonghwa. That’s hard to tell what’s their roles in the group...

(I apologize for this potentially long comment lol) Yeah no fr they're so cuddly😭 9:18 YEAH they talked about it in a vlive and never talked about it again LMAO Hongjoong currently has produced 4 songs for Ateez (Aurora, Sunrise, Horizon, and Good lil Boy), and 1 song for KQ Fellaz (From/ the Atz version is a CD only in the second album). I forgot you haven't watched Aurora or THANXX yet, can't wait for those! Random Seonghwa fact, he's the youngest in his family, but the oldest in Ateez // also Jongho youngest in atz but the oldest in his family haha omg im like 99% sure Ateez and BB Trippin stalk Atiny twitter 😂😂 Light is one of my favourite Atz b-sides and Yunho's part in it is so sweet 🥺 ANEWS is like Ateez news, he sometimes gives spoilers/ behind stories/ interview the other members (all 8 members have a youtube series content, ANEWS is Yunho's lol) Yeosang's voice is so warm and pretty, I really hope he can show it off more :') and yes he may be kind and a bit innocent, but that doesn't stop his savageness Random San fact, but his older sis' name is Haneul (Sky), and their family cat's name is Byeol (Star). 30:28 Mingi isn't as frivolous as what the shows portray, but he's definitely still a ray of sunshine nonetheless :') also I think the fact that Mingi and Yunho / Wooyoung and Yeosang were friends before KQ helps with the group dynamic, they're pretty close and so their dynamic feels warm and friendly to me! Wooyoung being both loud and friendly is the BEST thing tbh. In a recent show, Yeosang was asked how he and Woo became friends, and he said something like: "Usually there are steps to become friends, but Wooyoung skipped some. One day we're slowly getting to know each other, and the next day, he bit my arm" 😂😂 Jongho is a fellow 00 liner!! :') I think his vocals are what drew me into Atz in the first place. One of the first things I watched was the 2020 MAMA and I was blown away 😭♥ 39:15 this is Jongho's KZread content! He does covers of his favourite OSTs, and he did a collab with Seunghwan (a singer he looks up to) on his most recent one🥺🥺 both their voices are so pretty He was super exited for the collab and even went straight to vlive to tell atiny about it (pls go stre4m it tinys!!) I was lucky enough to see them live during their first US concert and they are somehow even more amazing and charismatic than they are in recorded lives. I didn't even realize it was possible until then.

I saw their tour in London on Seonghwa’s birthday- the atmosphere was amazing. Had front row seats but my phone messed up and couldn’t record a lot. Got to see them arrive and get out of the vans and then they stuck their heads out of windows above the queues and waved at us as well. Had amazing seats for their 2020 tour in Wembley Arena, but COVID- so it didn’t happen. They let us choose to have a refund or keep the tickets and seats for next time, (which I did) so fingers crossed!

Yay I'm so happy you got around to this! This is one of the best guides but to get to know the guys personalities, there are additional ones if you'd like to check them out. There's the "who is ateez" by apple juice, as well as the "fall in love with the 8 members of ateez" vid others have mentioned. I only mention this because I feel like to really to get to know them you really have to be shown more of their off stage things and more background info about them as people. Also for me, I don't actually remember the info I get about groups unless I watch multiple guides in different styles, it helps solidify them in my mind if that makes sense. I'm so glad you got around to this, I absolutely love your ateez reactions and I'm happy you enjoy them so much. Idk what it is about them that speaks to the 2nd gen kpop fan in me haha. but speak it does, loudly. Hi! Ateez had a presentation on Immortal Songs covering ‘’It’s raining’’. It was a special episode about Rain, a legend in South Korea, and they won! I love Yeosang, I really wish more fans appreciated him. Many don't because he (supposedly) isn't that confident in his vocals which is why he doesn't sing in their title tracks all that often compared to the others, at least. I hope he will gain that confidence one day, his voice is one of my faves in the group. Actually, appreciate him in general, he gets too much hate for merely existing and having fun (such as his experiment in trying to create a giant bubble, that was adorable to watch). Naturally, I love how savage he is but for all that, he is also really kind and caring towards his members and Atiny ^^

If you watch Compilations of Woosang (Wooyoung and Yeosang) You can really see just how close they are to each other, their friendship is honestly really special.

Mingi is only the second person I know that has their little signature before their verse, the first one is Suga's little "Suga" before he starts to rap. I think that's very cool way to really make the verse "your own" I guess
