All this acidic, eyeless grass blooming externally spoiled the map, although otherwise it was not inferior to the map of the first chapter

Fortnite used to be so well optimized that i could run it on a potato but now you need a nasa computer or a $500 console to play it

@@sarmadghumman1891that’s just your fault for trying to run max graphics with shaders. I have a $3000 pc but use performance graphics with low settings and get crazy fps, although I keep it capped at 240fps

It was an anti-cheat error. The game thought that the player was trying to exploit through the map and it banned them.

I remeber about hearing about a glitch with the swing that some people exploited that's why the swings don't move in the latest fortnite..

Damn, Fortnite has lost a lot of its charm over the years... I wish Epic at least kept some of the OG feel (most of which came from StW originally) and not make everything so soulless. I understand that Fortnite is Epic's flagship game nowadays and that the newer graphics are supposed to show off UE5 tech, but Fortnite is simply not Fortnite anymore...

If you compare the old and new Fortnite directly, they are not so much different. But the old Fortnite feels like a soft toy that you like to spend time with, while the current one feels like a cold plastic toy that seems to be a toy too, but hugging it will not be as pleasant as a soft one

Yeah def. If they bring back OG it needs to be longer than 1 month, and actually bring in the old map changes towards the latter half. My thing is they need to bring back OG graphics with UE5 cus it’ll look amazing. The colors were vibrant but the lighting during the day kind of threw it off a bit

@@zephjd Add to that, the reason why there's so many details is because those assets were straight from Save The World, in which almost everything was searchable or destroyable for loot

I’m an OG and I quit in chapter 2. I came back for season OG, but I didn’t quit after it ended and I’ve been enjoying chapter 5 so far. They are obviously doing something right to keep an OG like me playing in chapter 5.

It’s surprising to me that the sounds were much crispier back then

Fortnite came out in 5th grade when I was 10 years old. I remember hating it and I was tired of my classmates talking about it all the time so I never played it. But I regret it a lot and I hate the fact that I used to be a hater. Anyways, I’m a Junior in High School now and I’m 16 years old. I am currently playing Fortnite and I love it. Can’t believe I missed out on it for years. If I could go back in time I would tell my 10 year old self to play Fortnite instead of Overwatch.

Ik they improved the graphics and all, but I feel like most of us can agree that graphics isn’t everything, most if not all of us really loved the classic cartoony feel the game had! Don’t get me wrong fortnite looks nice now! But that’s just not something I particularly care about…

Yes while there’s little to no sound when jumping on a car, you can still get that sound effect when jumping on a forklift

I was always so scared if i was in the storm bc of the sound

I have played every season since the first day, but in most seasons I played just to stay in the game. It was something I have never experienced while playing Fortnite. I can't wait to go home and play Fortnite all day long, but now I don't play the game for months or I play it a few times and close it. In the past, I would have played the first episode map for at least 4 hours. And those who want its simplicity should be brought as a permanent map, those who want to play with innovations in the new map, those who want to play the old style.

i don't know what it is but the og graphics and distance scaling makes the map seem so much bigger👍

I really think chapter 2 season 2 graphics were just fine, it also ran old gen consoles on pretty high graphics.

Fortnite really changed a lot

most sounds still sound fortnitish if thats the right word for it for example, the gun sounds still sound like they could be in season 1 it doesn’t stray all too far from what it was in terms of sound design

being unable to move the swing makes me depressed, i need my swing physics back fortnite.
