Idol to si clem , very great song writer with a unique guitar playing style. Mabuhay ang musikang pilipino 🤟🤘

Naging Judge namin sila nung 2002 or 2003 sa battle of the bands sa guiguinto bulacan, bagets pa ako non.. Tinugtog namin noon: Waiting for the Bus, Envelope Ideas saka Inbetween Days.. 3rd place kami, pinanalo nila mga chicks na showband tumugtog ng the corrs.haha after ilang weeks napanood ko na mtv nila ng a beginning of something wonderful. Pinangkain namin ng Pares yung Cash prize, yung trophy iniwan ko sa homeless. Pero may kasama namang beef pares.

Pinakamaganda sa ONL yung Heaven Knows, Hanggang kailan at Kailangan kita tapos sa Camerawalls yung Clinicay Dead for 16 hours at a sight of love. 😁 Solid Sir Clem 💯

Naririnig ko talaga yung The Smiths sa mga guitar parts ni Clem, lalo na yung approach sa melodic structure.

Another legendary episode! one thing that surprised me is how Clem was affected by a "new wave" yahoo group that was bashing them, when most of us are not even aware that group exists. heck yahoo groups doesn't even exist anymore! Shows how we artists can sometimes focus too much on negative reactions. Lots of great insights that younger bands can learn from! thank you Clem for telling your story and I'm very happy for your renewed success!

Sir Rayms napaka nostalgic naman na kwentuhan nito, sana lahat ng nasa early 2000s OPM rock i-guest mo na, Hale, Join the Club, Soapdish, Kitchie Nadal, Cueshe etc. nakakamiss at nakakaiyak bakit ba ganito na music ngayon wala nang effort wala nang feeling. Edited: Si Clem nga pala napaka bait na artist n'yan, mahilig makipag kwentuhan tapos walang yabang talaga, we even rode the same bus one time paluwas ako Manila galing Baliwag Bulacan may dala pa s'ya guitar.

I think 1 contributing factor is yung 2000s audience niyo is mostly students who can't afford to see gigs. Ngayong adult na sila, ma y means na para maka nuod. Hence the "resurgence". And majority reason was the pandemic.

Yung "Yakapin Natin Ang Gabi", "Ikaw Ang Aking Tahanan" saka "Pag-ibig sa Tabing-Dagat", Hindi po gaanong Kundiman. Medyo jazzy na po. Kasi sa mga classical guitar mentors ko noon sabi, ang kundiman walang major seven (Maj7, ∆7) saka mga nine chords (add9, maj9, dom9) technically speaking. Sa chord-progression. Sa lyrics, dapat purong Tagalog, according to Florante Aguilar's vlogs. "La Bulaqueña" is Spanish - But the whole album is a masterpiece (La Bulaqueña) Ang mahalaga, may naglakas-loob sumubok magtunog-Kundiman
