I agree with Shabbat Zaidi’s point regarding non-filers. In Canada, if you don’t file your tax return the government sends an immediate court order to all financial institutions stating your tax liability and asks them to immediately send money from your accounts, investments, etc. to the govt to settle the tax liability. If there are any refunds or incorrect calculation of tax amount, you can claim it by filing the tax with the government.

Japan, South Korea defense expenditure was only 0.8% of GDP. Given Pakistan does not have luxury of IT exports, they have to cut defense expenditure which is a drag on the economy. Also it will help India to reduce defense expenditure

If we aspire to enact significant reforms, it is imperative to dismantle the existing business empire of the Punjab army and armed forces and establish a new one characterized by a majority of Urdu-speaking, Gilgiti, Pashtun, and Baloch individuals, with a limited representation of Punjabis. The overwhelming influence of Punjabis/Sindhis in every sector poses a considerable security risk. Our economy thrived when Karachi served as the capital. However, the moment the Punjab army unlawfully shifted the capital from Karachi to Punjab, a downward spiral commenced. After over 50 years of Punjabi/Sindhi dominance, we find ourselves on the brink of collapse in a defaulted state. Punjabis/Sindhis should not be permitted to persist in its control, as it has proven to be a catastrophic force over the past five decades.

If a society has people / groups of people with differing attitudes, the resulting multi dimensional impact on society is a net positive. Group thinking, single directional thought and lack of self corrective mechanisms are absent in a homogeneous society.

Where did the young generation of Pakistan go? At least the host must be young, and why is this in English language, when 97% of Pakistanis don't know / speak English. Thank you

In a recent move, DHA has ordered 5000 acres of land in Hawks Bay, with Murad Ali Shah directing the revenue board to allocate it. The last clean seashores we enjoyed will now be plagued, transforming into yet another Phase 8-style open sewage drain system. Bravo!

نئی انڈسٹری لگانے کے لئے ماحول کو ساز گار بنانا ،ٹیکس ریفارم ،بنیادی ڈھانچہ تبدیل کرنا۔ امپورٹ ایکسپورٹ کو سہل بنانا اولین شرط ھے۔ جس کا ذکر شبر زیدی بار بار کر چکے ھیں۔ شبر زیدی نے ھمارے معاشی ماڈل کو امپورٹ بیس کی بجائے ھمیشہ ایکسپورٹ بیس بنانے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا ھے۔

So many important topics were not touched on, funds parked outside of Pakistan r being taxed there, yet ppl park it there and not in Pakistan....y ? Bcz Pakistan is unsafe, Pakistan is in the hands of foj and they r the most uncouth elements of this god forsaken land. Secondly, u don't get anything in return for ur taxes, no medical facilities, no safety, no security, in fact the state of Pakistan is the biggest enemy of the ppl of Pakistan.....ur life, honor and property r all at risk at the hands of this state. Thirdly, the FBR ppl, the army ppl, the politicians all parking there money out side of Pakistan, y then anyone else wld not......the state of Pakistan itself is the biggest criminal. This is the crux of the matter but ofcourse Zaidi was unable to touch on that and no one else wld either for the fear of reprisal from the state.....u c this is what this state is and this is the reason y u have to leave asap !

Shaubber Zaidi sb! Ten provinces who would constitute? Kyani, and Bajwa sb etc despite service extension could not done the desirous conceptualized jurisdictions.

nahi sawal yeah hai nahi.... meray khayal mein har power mein sirf wohi shaks asakta hai jo national interest ky ilawa/anti soch (selfish ho) rakhay.... lakin shabbar itni badi badi batein kar raha yeah .... dubai leaks anay say pehlay kaha tha despite the fact he had gone through the returns of the most such influential people, seems illogical and very dubious... im sorry shabbar is just an annoyance, has no mental capcity to formulate a logically coherent argument let alone doing something well on his own, just makes stories
