🎥 In 1983, this A-Team Van was one of six (6) Vans that were officially licensed by Universal Studios to Hollywood Productions, Inc. for exhibition and promotional tours throughout the U.S. and Canada. It was used to promote the A-Team TV series from 1983 to 1987. Although this vehicle was never seen or used in the A-Team TV series it was one of the most popular attractions while touring the auto shows.

The gray was much darker, some people mistake this for a screen used van but it's not. This was built by Universal as a promo vehicle nothing to do with the tv show though

My childhood memories (actually very early teenage memories) of this show in the 80s was that the van was ALL black with the red stripe .....i think the reason i recall it as being all black was due to the low quality resolution analog tv 's of the time ,,especially if the tint and brightness was set on low ...not mention many of us Gen Xer's parents black and white tv in house ..i remember watching MANY of the classic late 70's and early to mid 80's tv shows on B&W

have you even seen the show...blk on bttm up-swiped to the back red stripe in middle gun-metal on top....just like the video shows...are you slow or blind.

Driving around with the sliding door handle open after all these years. Still NO ONE knows how those doors operate. Unbelievable.

Nope -the top is gun metal grey. Series 1 was gloss finish but due to unwanted reflection exposing film cameras and crew etc it was switched to satin finish ... fun facts

@@waynewilber3778 I have no idea sir, I just saw a film about the facts and was surprised to learn the top was actually silver as my memories hadn't included that in themselves! I was puzzled that I had never picked up on it . I was mainly into KITT LOL . I adored that car .
