No one knows if bandai is planning on revealing every character on the roster before the game even comes out. I dont know why everyone is assuming that. Plus I dont know why everyone is assuming were only going to get 10ish characters per trailer when the first one we got revealed 24 character slots, yeah they were all goku and vegeta but still. Like what if we get a story mode trailer, confirming smaller names in the roster like cui, appule, pui pui, yakkon, just as an example. we dont need a trailer for EVERY playable character considering this is going to have 160+ characters that would need to be revealed. Im sure they would want to leave some for the players surprise.

i absolutely want the whole GT series character roster. Playing with ssj4 goku vegeta gogeta omega shenron super android 17 was always my favorite thing to do back in tenkaichi 3. Im also hoping ultra instinct be given a unique mechanic since we alrd have the tenkaichi 3 dodge feature

My favorite characters will already be in the game. What i wanna see is characters that barely get any shine like GT Goten, General Rildo, GT pan, Garlic jr, kami, skinny buu, olibu and so on. Would be fun to try out some new characters we rarely see

I personally would like the Z movie villains, GT villains and 'what-if' characters eventually. From the OG budokais, remember Tiencha and Cillin (I think was the name; it was a what-if where cell absorbed krillin)

As long as a character from each saga is shown plus GT DB DBM & DBD It is unnecessary to show every character in a trailer speculators have already done predictions that fill in the rest, we will be fine

I really hope transformation don’t go towards character slots unless it’s like ssj4 goku or the fusions

I never played a Budokai Tenkaichi game. I hope we can sort through our characters by many tags. Race, gender, height, abilities, clothing color, attack type (ki, magic, divine ki), universal status, universe mortality, popularity, hair color, body parts (tails, horns, ect.), species, morality, fusions, transformations, series arc, timeline, occupation, etc...

@@nightrunner4817 No not character creation, character sorting. I know that's a LOT of sorting options, but it would make for a quantity of challenges content. "Winning with only Tuffel race" or "Winning with only characters who have purple clothes" or " winning with only short characters". But 10 custom character saves would be cool.

They can release a big character trailer with like 10-15 characters if they want or they can do a trailer with 20+ lol

Man look....I doubt they're gonna showcase EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER playable...and idky ppl assume that because we see a picture of 164 slots means they won't give us more at launch. This isn't even an official definite character roster. They could show you 164 character slots and the game will still have 200 characters we don't know but even this isn't something that's gonna be set in stone.

Dont worry they showcased the game ro be released in 2024 in singapour just 2 days ago, also they will be increasinf characters each trailer, there is gonna be a trailer about the sagas and a trailer about heroes vs villians, those will show much more than before at least 60 characters more with both trailers and then theyll end it with a full roster trailer thats gonna add he remaining characters and a release date very close to the actual date of that last trailer wich will be released arround august so i believe the game will realese between september and november this year.

Thats good news, I think. For starters, it means that they will take their time to make it good. Then there is the fact that we can all see where the ship is going. If it seems, at any point, that the game might not be to our liking, its possible to chose to buy it or not before release. Finnaly, you can save up for the game if money is tight for you and a year is not that long, elder scroll six is not close to be out yet and the trailer was six years ago.

I think the next trailer is maybe old dragon ball characters or more of super ones. But If it was GT I will lose my mind.

The reasoning behind thinking it has to be coming out next year doesn’t make sense. Just because they’ve done 10-13 characters in the past, doesn’t mean they won’t have trailers that show more. We really won’t know until they explicitly confirm. But all other indicators point to 2024

Gohan as a kid got a cool moveset I use him more then Gohan as a adult

huh? Who the hell could even possibly think that this game would be released THIS year? I think people heavily underestimate development.. 10-13 characters per month is incredible. I would go so far to say that it's too good to be true. Normally it takes way more time if the characters are designed to feel different from each other.

I think it will. Part of me believe Kakarot was them testing it out for this game. Also Xenoverse was them testing online connections. They said all the developers were helping spike for this game.

@@keanureeves9802Extremely unlikely they’ve already said Kakarot is there primary story centric platform for the franchise that they’ll continue to develop DLC for the foreseeable future. So trying to put a similar thing in TKZ would be counter intuitive. Best you can hope for is Budakai 3/TK 2 like exploration.

I'll never understand Gamers of this generation. Content creators and players alike will be like: "I NEED it sooner then later!" Button people talk about modern gaming is trash because games release unfinished... How about show developers that you are willing to wait and play the long game and be patient so it can release complete and more finished rather than accepting an earlier release date? ( obviously I'm not saying that the player base has control over when a game releases but this sort of falls back to the whole approach of: "Speak with your wallet." ) I would rather wait longer and have a better finished project out day one rather than it come out sooner and it has issues run out the gate. These days any game is going to have issues on day one. But it could be much worse if fans show that they are extremely excited to the point where the dead is could possibly feed into the hype and Rush a game out. I'm not a game developer I don't work in the field or anything. But this back and forth is just so odd to me. I thought getting games to be delayed these days would be a good thing but it seems the vast majority of people are just too hyped.

For every million views averages around $400 so if they keep making videos that Garner over 1 million views, they’re making some kind of cushion before the product even comes out. If I was an Indy developer and for every update I did for the game before it came out made over 1 million views, I would advertise the hell out of it before it came out. That’s just extra money and at the same time you’re hyping your fan up and they don’t even have to spend a dime.

Hey, DBZ community ... can I get some help on something 🤔 I was replaying DBZ kakarot, and I'm at the beginning of the sayian arc with Raditz, and an idea popped in my head. We know Raditz is goku older brother, but do you think he could also be vegeta's secret half-brother? hear me out... we know goku got sent to earth for being a weak sayian. So if that was the case, how strong was Raditz when he was born to be in an elite group with vegeta as kids?? We know raditz was weak compared to vegeta but not that weak that goku and piccolo the strongest beings on earth with a combination power level still struggled. But back to the half-brother idea . Maybe King vegeta could have raditz with gina right after vegeta. Most kings would have multiple wives for children... and knowing the sayian they was trying to build their empire, it would make sense for King vegeta to father different children to build their kingdom and to have a successful heir.. Raditz could be one of those children. He does have more similarities to vegeta than to goku .. from the widow's peak to the similar colors in ki. But hey, just an idea, please don't roast me in the comments 😅 lol
