Thanks for the video, it was really good to see the unit as we haven’t been able to do tour in person. How does it work if you want your doula to join you? In other countries, they don’t count as birth partners. Is it the same in the UK? I really want my husband and my doula to be there on the day. I am happy with all the other measures but that’s a must have for me. Thank you!

Appreciate the video, but would be good if the voiceover was louder than the music or a transcript was available. Very difficult to distinguish between the speaker and the music, must be particularly inaccessible for anyone with hearing difficulties.

So during the time you need your birth partner the most he or she wouldn't be allowed till you are in active labour?

Why would you be there if you weren't in active Labour?

@@amylrood91 well I had my baby 7m ago. My hub wasnt allowed in till I was ready to push. Even that he was given a test at 12 midnight and waited for results to be neg before he was allowed in. After birth I had to stay for couple of days due to lactation issues n guess what he was allowed one visit so my question during that time was because a first time pregnant woman was anxious her husband wouldn't be allowed in but thank God my midwife was awesome
