AAMI Park clears Comm Bank and is on par with Townsville. AAMI exterior is much better than Comm Bank and the sightlines are better

Allegiant, as nice as it was, wasn’t even a proper sized field, so I have no idea how it can be ranked so high off that alone

As a resident of Townsville, the stadium is one of the few nice things in the city…

Suncorp Stadium, Allianz Stadium and AAMI Park have my top three. Atmosphere of all three is just lit.

With McDonald Jones stadium with the hills they want to put in stands but that has been the in the works for years

Belmore is better than Leichhardt. Accor is the worst ground to watch league in. Even in top tier seats you’re too far away.

Commbank is a brilliant looking stadium

You were correct about the idea of enclosung McDonald Jones Stadium. It was dependant on Australia winning the big for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Though i'm of the view that grass banks and hills have had their day. The regional ones are what they are. Regional sporting facilities so they will be pretty basic.

Dragons fan here. and i thought id drop a comment about the hills. We love the Hill and wouldnt trade it for a massive grand stand with cover. Sitting in the hills and both win and kograh is such a good atmosphere and way more enjoyable then sitting in a seat in a grand stand.

Only if the stadium was refurbished to keep some of the hill as a sentimental nod, like Adelaide Oval. When Kogarah Oval is hosting a game on a rainy night with a 30% capacity and people thinly spread across the hill, it doesn't even look like a professional game of the footy. We need to move with the times when we can, and you can get even better atmosphere with a seated grandstand and a roof over your head to reverberate the noise.

Allianz Stadium is the best. HBF Park certainly needs an upgrade and will get one when Perth comes in in '27 or '28. The WA Govt have said there will be upgrades which can only hope is a new western grandstand with suites

No question, Suncorp is the BEST rectangular stadium in the country by far. And I agree with those who say Alligent shouldn't count because of the size issue.

Cool list. While Allegiant Stadium did indeed host NRL matches in 2024, I personally disqualify it and don't think those matches should have even been played there for competition points due to the narrower and shorter pitch size. Your order was pretty much spot on though.

@@Newyknights the list was about the stadiums that were on the NRL 2024 playing roster. Aligent stadium was, how is that so hard to understand? Regardless of the field dimensions, two games were played there and counted officially to ladder points. The NRL who make the rules decided to use that stadium, so any argument against it is futile as it was a sanctioned NRL match. I don't know how it's this hard to get that? It's like all you keyboard warriors are higher up than Abdo and Valandys.

Our melbourne soccer stadium is awesome and big because it looks like it’s almost rapped in bubbles 15:53 our soccer team in Melbourne are called “Melbourne victorys” which this name means Melbourne wants a victory

I love the suburban grounds they have a great unique flavour to them and the atmosphere is consistently great

One of the things with cbus and why it’s in robina is that before the tram there was only busses along the coast line and the the train network ran inland if I remember correctly the stadium when built was at the last stop Since then there is another stop and this train runs all they way to Brisbane as a result with the public transport Network it makes a lot more sense to have at robina also it’s a 5 minute walk away from a shopping centre as well

3:21 : the building will be a shopping centre with a woolies and some restaurants as well as apartments

6:06. It would interesting if they were the 19th team in the NRL coz that would mean there could be two teams called Canterbury.

Mr Pivot Piece, I just looked up the details for Allegiant Stadium and the pitch was only 94m long. Surely this knocks it down to last place and makes a complete mockery of your entire analysis..

Queensland Country Band stadium has the opening for the sea breeze............not the view of the "city".

Haven't watched the video yet but if Suncorp isn't first there is something wrong

South Island Kea they are going with not Canterbury and they will almost certainly enter the NRL at some stage

There is no way GIO Stadium is better than Kogarah. Also the Dolphins weren’t promoted into the NRL they still compete in the QLD Cup. Allianz is the best stadium Ive been two, followed by Commbank Stadium. I’ve not yet been to Suncorp. You also have Accor Stadium way too high it’s a soulless place for all but a few games of the year

I respect the list but I would have McDonald Jones stadium higher and Accor Stadium much lower. Imo, nothing beats a packed out McDonald Jones Stadium for Knights games.
