As a professional class A driver and a Lego fan I had to have this set once I found out it existed. The little details like the fuel spots under both sides of the sleeper was a nice touch. I made one modification to mine though. I used one of those overhanging pieces with two studs facing up and four in a square facing out. I attached that to where the mug sits so I could attach a 1x2 printed radio tile. Trust me radio saves the sanity of many drivers.

Legos are one of the things that I will never outgrow.

In this set, you get a minifig sized version of this set. So does that mean, in that minifig sized set, there is going to be an extra mini version of the set for the extra mini minifigs that the actual Lego minifigs use as minifigs. And then so fourth. Legoception.

The nostalgia when I first build this. I feel different now.

I almost won one of these in a speed building competition, lost by ~3 seconds. It came back to haunt me when I built a LEGO store.

I love that there is a sleeper cab that a minifig can actually sleep in, which is very rare in Lego (just a pity that it's slightly open towards the back). I can actually think of just 2 other sets that have it: 7998 Heavy Hauler (2007) and the largest truck in 10244 Fairground Mixer (2014), both eight studs wide.

I also have this truck, now it's pretty rare

I know this set is really old I got this set in 2010 that was the first Lego set that I ever made my mum used to make most of them for me but it is now in pieces lol just started to rebuild it the trailer is done and I just started to build the cab

I have this sitting in my living room! Very stylish truck, like a bigger version of the Lego semi truck released many years back. It's fun to mod to look more aggressive or realistic.

That truck and the toys r us truck sets are the only Lego sets that I know that I really want and also those sets were made when I was born

+DargoDog This is one of those epic surprises that happens when you buy bulk brick hails off of Craig's List. I think why it looks so good is because it really look un-Lego, if it wasn't for the studs on the top, you really wouldn't know it was a brick build.

I got this set in 2010, but I wasent a huge fan of it back in 2010 so I broke it up and all the parts are scattered across the house. I'm a huge fan now and keep all my Lego sets together

I have this set! I added a red and white stripe on the hood and back of cab for extra detail. nice review!

I really liked this truck, the attention to detail is pretty good. The refueling ports on the gas tanks in particular are great. I think that the angle on the hood is too steep I feel.

My mistake. Was referring to the what I more commonly heard with respect to the law, kingpin to axle max of 41ft (40 in California, varies in interpretation by state).

I LOVE IT. ITS BIG. ITS REALISTIC. IT LOOKS REAL MORE THAN LEGO. HONESTLY. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

In the u.s box trailers are typically 53ft long.

I had that when I was about 5, and I Screwed up and now I really wish I was more carful with it haha

I have the set I didn't use the Leto stickers on the truck I built it plain but I use the tiny logo models for my caustom mail truck

in my animations I would make the cap guy as he is, I would use a man I made at legoland as the driver and I would make it so the truck would be delivering to a shop (Octan maybe)

53 ft trailer is legal limit I believe, unless your running a B train , or a over sized load.
