Definitely one of the better instructional videos. Curious, though, why you removed the large central section of protective film before sticking the digitiser to the mid frame. It would seem likely that there are separate pieces of protective film so that this middle section can be peeled off AFTER sticking the two parts together to avoid fingerprint contamination right up until final closure.

Out of all the videos i saw about repairing iPhone screen, yours was the best one. You explain each step very well and the camera was very close, so i can see what you were doing. So thanks for helping me fix my screen!

Thank you I recently found my old iphone 3 but the touch screen was broken but thanks to you in was able to fix it and get my photos off it.

Anthony ... seperating the digitizer from the glass was a tough one. I couldn't see where the seperation should be. Maybe your video can offer more tips for that step in the future.

Just fixed my 3G using this guide, lower right side of the old digitizer wasn't working so swapped it for a white one and it works perfectly now :-)

Thanks bro! I just had some condensation under the glass on the screen... and some skin particles or something collected and made a very annoying spec. (Condensation game from my hand) The first 4 minutes it all I needed! :D

Hey, thanks great video! I had no trouble with replacing the screen. Looks great. BUT doesn't work! It does not respond to touch. What can be the problem?? Everything seems to be plugged in correctly.. Any ideas? I even tried with 2 screen sets I bought through amazon! With one, the screen responds a little bit, and with the other not at all.

Hey, so i did this and the 1st time the phone came on but the touch pad didnt respond. So i wasnt able to turn it off. I just opened the phone back up and repeated the steps and everything seems to b just like in the video....but when done, the screen isnt coming on now. But i kno the phone is on because when i plug in the charger it vibrates n i think i even got a message. The screen is just black. Help please

Yeah that’s why you should go very careful when separating the LCD to the digitizer as they are clipped in

why when i pull the screen with the suction cup only the digitizer comes off and not the whole thing

Just tried to repair my phone and it worked sorta. My bottom part of the screen is not responding i thing i bought a replacement screen with broken digitizer because im pretty sure the contact is on good anybody know how to fix this?
