Mark Le. Apple renamed iOS on the the iPad to iPadOS but its technically still iOS 13. I’ve also got iOS 13 on my phone. I didn’t feel like waiting till September for dark mode and all the new features on the iPad.

Well people with iPhone 4s and 4 specially hated it because iOS 7 made the phones super slow. And I honestly hated iOS 7 because I didn’t like the new design, I love how much it has improved in terms of features. But If I had to pick a design between this one and iOS 6. I’d still pick iOS 6

iOS 7 was without question the biggest iOS update ever

This has been the most significant IOS update for apple products, it reminds me of better times where you’d appreciate each new feature instead of taking it for granted

iOS 7 was a big step forward. And now we wait for iOS 9. Time flies :)

I’m watching on my Xs Max. I miss the old my iPhone 5, the real first innovation of iPhone.

That OS was great. This video got me so excited. I had a couple of betas of iOS 7 and what I really miss it's the multitasking.

iOS 7 was a great redesign,but it's clear not everyone likes it.there should be a way to switch to the classic theme or the modern theme.

I hold iOS 7 in my digital heart lol. I got my first iPhone in 2013 and boy iOS 7 is what really drew me into the ecosystem. Since then I've moved on to Android and I've been off and on with Apple devices, but I'll never forget iOS 7. 🙂

I really miss control center's design on iOS 7, it was simpler and more transparent. Now it looks just meh.

Gustavo Alejandro Yeah, I like the new animations too, its awesome! I like the new lockscreen. However, there is not much of a new look in iOS 10, it looks almost the same as iOS 7 for the most parts except for the app switcher. The iOS 7-8 app switcher was better to me

I love the way the notification centre pulled down and looked like a sheet of glass coming over the screen of your phone. I loved that translucent effect, I really wish they kept that.

Love the parallel effect on 7 now they just don't really care. it was cool

5s is my first iphone and still using it although i have xr. Miss the ios7.

Although they take awhile to add such obvious features, they always look so slick.

ios 11 and 7 are the most significant steps forward from the ios system of all time

7 years later, 7 iOS updates, WWDC was held virtually and yet here I am watching the thinking behind the design of iOS 7. Actually, this reminds me of the thinking behind the design of macOS Big Sur just unveiled at this years WWDC

This will always be one of my favorite shining moments in the history of iPhone.

What a beautiful foundation iOS 7 started 👏🏽

I am a strong hater of flat design, however I have never really been such a hater of the IOS 7 design. In the past, beyond my first impressions of IOS 7, I never really thought twice about it, reducing it to just "another UI" and not taking the time to really appreciate it. In recent times however, I find the IOS 7 design to be lovey! It's light, airy, clean, soft, summery and still had that iconic "Applness" to it. Something that I'm a huge fan of that I don't see a huge number of people talking about are the 5 dots at the top left, which indicate the cellular connection strength. This small touch just made it look so sleek and modern, I wish that Apple had kept that design. I'm not a fan of the current Apple UI design, neuomophism just isn't something that I like. I do think the Apple ecosystem is due for another complete software redesign and I predict that they are going to wait until they reach a round number (IOS 20) to do so. Pre-IOS 7 design will always be my favourite though. Nothing will beat skeuomorphism.

This is what i love about Iphones .love it or hate it but you cant deny the fact that apple do make beautiful and intuitive user interface and the care they take towards their software side of things is remarkable...

When I first saw this back when it was announced, I absolutely hated the new interface. But now I think it looks alright, especially since it's aged better than iOS 6 and earlier.

I'm running the ios7 developer beta 2 on my iPad 4 right now, it's definitely an improvement, but the improvements are small. It also crashes alot in the beta. Beta 3 is rumoured to come out on the 8th of next month!

You guys it's true. major updates like these make older phones slower, I remember my friends 4s being really quick and fluid, once I got one 2 years later and the update came out it lagged quite a bit. Got a 5s though!
