Hey bro what mods you use to see how long it takes to grow muschromms and stuff?

Something I noticed when experimenting with the update was that compost wraps no longer extend Wormwood’s bloom time. Unsure if that’s a bug or it’s intentional to make up for the fact that manure is way easier to get now in large numbers.

Haven't played this game since the end of return of them. This couldn't have come out at a better time!

You know, I'm surprised of a few things with wolfgangs dumb bells. Why didn't they give him a 'spear bell' or something of the sort to that loses durable slower as a weapon but faster when worked out with. Also have his fire and ice bells cool and heat you up when using them

@@TheBeard777 not if the recipe change to be a thermal bell + 2 of the required gems (and before you ask, thermal based items like thermal stones and thermal bells do use tools in the recipe so it's not the worst idea to continue it in the crafting tree)

He kinda gets overshadowed by both of them and having the most boring skill tree yet as it just makes him only good at one thing he's good for dps it's kind of sad as it had a lot of potential yet all focus gose to woodie and some to wormwood yet just crumbs to Wolfgang

Early game is exactly the same as ever with just options to either get to the ocean stuff early or not. And that's been the issue many have had with the game over the years! The cycle of survival has remained in tact while the endgame is the only just NOW being worked on so a lot of the content is purely optional. I do have playlists for updates from specific years if that helps though!

Honestley with how they are gonna give skill trees all character i cant WAIT until wurt gets her own!

Think the monkeytail craft has alot of potential. Honey poltices and have greaty synergy with the bee skill. If you farm feathers you can get infinite dark armour and blow darts too. Sure they are infinitely farmable but thats really late game and requires a ton of time/trips to the island. The craft lets you do right after a ruins rush or with just one trip to the island.

Hey beard just wanna let you know. And I do know that you are tired of making dst videos. It's just nice to know Beardo is out there still being a mini celebrity of the niche indie game known as don't starve. Whatever you choose to do in the future Beardo. i like the note thae wormwoods skill tree lacks a shadow affinity tree, tying back to his origins as a lunar shard.

For anyone else on playstation who was going crazy like me trying to figure out how to even bring the skill trees up, press triangle when there is nothing around you to inspect. I know this sounds ridiculous that i couldnt figure this out but maybe there is someone else out there like me.

I wish Klei would have given a wood-gathering skills to Woody. Picking all your logs is such a task. - Making it possible for him to have greater stock (30 instead of 20). - Picking 2 or 3 logs at once when they are close to each other. I main him for a long time. I love to come back from morph with a bit of Hunger, but it feels too much as it is right now.

i did some testing and it seems that the hardhat also protects you from stuff that falls from trees! this is kinda bugged with uncompromising mode though so the aphids that fall from redwoods in that mod wont be able to damage you if you wear it.

I’m gonna miss salamanders being in their fire form since 2-3 pieces of scalemail could be used against a boss to offset fire

oh a funny thing with the new skins is that wormwood's one at full bloom doesnt even fit in the curio cabinet lol

A means of reviving that keeps all her stuff and relocates her to a recent point where she isn't being attacked or something would be cool. Or increasing stunlock time of enemies by a second or two. Perhaps even an ability to extend debuffs dealt/buffs recieved somehow?

I'm glad Woodie got this buffs, He's the official best lumberjack now, with that aoe tree cuting. For Woodie the picking up faster stuff makes sense... He's been living on the wild even before the constant. His versatility is through the roof now... Also... i feel that the introduction of this skill trees would be bad only on the context of Dont Starve. In the context of what Dont Starve Together is and is been molded by the player base, this methods are a form or representating progress, just like our characters are progressing in the story, the shadow and lunar skill reflect this, they're been shaped and twisted by the constant

Can't wait for Klei to look at this and say "Wait, we enraged everyone who doesn't main these. Let's add a few more and smooth out bugs they find, and slowly finish this up for every character." (Technology and clockwork themed overhaul with Winnona, WX, and Wanda skilltrees perhaps? Then the next could be all about monsters and shadows... And so on and so forth.) Wurt's theoretical future skill tree would prolly allow her to swim or paddle bare hand-finned or something... Maxwell would brainwash sanity monsters briefly... And um... Idk, Winnona prolly would just enhance range and charg duration of her stuff a lot. She's pretty much set as is. Maybe a new war machine or two? Catapults on wheels? Land vehicles with attitude? Whatever the case, new powers/upgrades. Whoo! This gonna be epic!

Could you possibly use the whistle for wurts merms?

Does Wolfgang's coach whistle work on nearby followers or just his own? Would work really well with Wurt if it does

I imagine if this is the case, Webber and Wurt may begin accidentally starting wars between each others followers and Wolfgang shows up to troll them by coaching them to get it over with faster... Shortly before he gets noticed and swarmed to death by inspired feisty fish and angry arachnids. Meanwhile, Pigs join in and then everyone kinda just hides behind the endtables as monsters riot outside the base. Willow just snuggles her bear and has a panic attack, causing sanity monsters to also tag in. Bunnymen at dusk wake up and immediately choose violence Then finally, vargs invade and begin to also get in on the anarchy. And WX who stategically plotted this all out free-for-all laughs his maniacal metal butt off, yelling "DANCE PUPPETS, DANCE!" Maxwell doublechecking to see that WX doesn't have the power to summon shadow monsters, questioning his own iffy sanity, proceeds to slap some sense into WX while everyone with followers watches in horror as their monster allies battle to the death until only one type of monster is left standing. Wolfgang of course, chilling with WX sit and watch the carnage while shoveling potatoes and gears down their hatches.

Been watching your videos for years now man. Always good info. Im on ps5 and it says it updated and im playing now but cant even find the skill trees at all. If you dont have any insight points or whatever they r called does that make the skill trees not show up yet? I cant even find them to just look at them. Where at do you bring them up on the screen from? While you are playing or before you launch your world? I see yours is up while playing but i cant find them anywhere and it's driving me crazy.

Nevermind just figured it out. If anyone else is wondering on platstation all u do is press triangle when there is nothing around to inspect. I feel dumb but man i was trying everything and didnt think it would be triangle lol.

If you played the Beta you should have all your points already. If you already have your points, you have them forever no matter what worlds you start.

Yo hello, how to complete "find and defeat lunar champion" thing? I just done this thing with cheats, like i was giving myself resources and stuff but every "essential" moment (pearl friendship, wagstaff storm etc.) I've completed by myself. Then after celestial death my skilltree branch still locked. Any tips?

a bug probably, try killing celestial champion with other characters and making a new world. Make sure to also spend points on stuff, because it requires you to waste like 8 points before you can choose an affinity.

Only if you need to still spend Insight Points. The only way to change the tree is through the Celestial Portal.

Not every 10 days, it grows over time. The first couple are 5 days, then 6 for a few, so on and so forth.

Only through selecting another character via the Celestial Portal and such.

yes! you switch your character at the completed celestial portal after offering a moon idol. it takes you back to the character select screen where you can of course reset your insight. it sounds scary but it's actually quite cheap. you need to find any of the lunar crafting stations, grab some moon rock and basic boards and rope and such and sacrifice 1 purple gem and some moon rock per character switch/skill tree reset.

Wormwood just has gone from being one of the hardest characters to play to one of the easiest.

How much defence does moose mastery give?

I haven't played dst in a long time, and it's always sad seeing a game get away from itself so much. I don't understand the idea behind skill trees, why can't their stuff be available from the get-go? Being able to cancel a rush isn't anything crazy, since you aren't going to be in moose form 24/7. Some of wormwood's stuff is crazy but since skills are going to be carried over between games, there isn't really a point to this rpg aspect balacing-wise (since you won't have to relearn it all the time).

as fun as skill trees are, i definitely think each perk should have a downside attached. Or maybe for each point of Insight you invest you’re forced to gain a downside from some kind of reverse skill tree? idk i feel like that would be a cool way for klei to lean into the Roguelite character-building style they seem to be going for.

This game has been a joke since the water updates. They've spent the last 2-3 years refreshing characters and milking people of money with skins and now they're messing up characters again with skill trees? Lmao yea glad i quit playing this crap it hasn't been the same since they sold out.

DISAPPOINTED It does'nt fix anything. Curse Duration???? Really??? Restore the Weremoose Powers that where NERFED to begin with??? (So finally @klei admits they where wrong) The hard-hat and the walking cane are a JOKE. Pick Faster??? Really??? and a Tree-Guard summoning idol??? Ok...let's see how we abuse this crap. And Finally either avoid turning on full moon or avoid gettin hit by Shadows while transformed. Ok... this HAS to be the Worst Skilltree EVER. At least Wilson's Skill are semi-usefull.... but THIS!!! REALLY!!!! What a waste of programming time....
