Ha! NZ and OZ aren't as good as they once where. The Irish are coming to take your non native sport away and Rugby is like fifth on our list of national past times. Either us or the Welsh

only nz at their very best could have put this Irish side away in those circumstances. It was the the most awesome crowd and atmosphere. coming from an English.

Watched this in Yates' in Romford with my daughter and my best friend from Antrim. When the final whistle went, some Essex soccer fans who knew fuck all about rugby said "Yeah, well done for coming second, Paddies". In 2018, I still feel smug.

A well earned 6 Nations victory for England. Overall, we had some very good rugby this year -- hopefully, this bodes well for Northern hemisphere teams going forward.

Very Average game, Ireland played well and keep england down ,,, but to push and win a 19th straight game England need to really play hard in the first 15 minutes of the first half , but couldn't ,,, Ireland once they sniff blood and made a game of it the same as when they played the all blacks in chicargo ,, good on you Ireland and good luck for the 6 nations next year and i hope we see a lot of you picked to go to New Zealand for the Lions Series.

I can't understand English trying too take Sexton out. don't the even care about his safety and the upcoming lion's tour

The 10 is always the target. Especially a 10 as gifted as Sexton... you can't run without your legs! It boggles me that people can be so naive to think otherwise. As an openside flanker I relish the opportunity to put a slightly late hit into the opponents 10!

Sad to see England not playing as their usual selves this game.. No line out contesting, weak support in rucks, kept kicking away possession and too much attention spent on trying to take sexton out the game rather than just out playing them.. It could have been such a great game, instead it was a disappointing match to watch. Personally i cared more about not beating New Zealand's win streak the most.. Well played by Ireland though, they deserved to win that game.. poor performance from England :'( gutted

As the most hated team from downunder I'd say it's a wonder England could bring themselves to shake hands at the end after their last world cup performance.

I'm Welsh and I reckon Ireland are the best team in the six nations, they've shown some inconsistency at times, but in this game they controlled England throughout and dominated the game. they beat France and Italy much more convincingly than England too.

ireland are too inconsistent and didnt have a big enough squad for a long time, when ireland play to their full potential there is very few teams would beat us. if we played like we did against england against everyone we would of probably won the six nations. but still not taking anything away from england they were the better team over all 5 games and deserved the title. unfortunate that they lost the record and grand slam.

Referred the decision on the Irish try to be sure, to be sure. England have shown themselves scrappy around the fringes...2nd rowers in the back row. Will be badly punished by the direct physicality there of NZ forwards. This Irish physicality should have been no surprise to Jones or his team and throughout every match, Italy included, seem to have a little something lacking, with the English arrogant air of entitlement.

How is it the greatest championship in rugby when only one team in the competition has ever won win world cup? one time..

The majority will surely be English and Irish.The Welsh have been disticintly average. A Lions coach would be an idiot to ignore the ENG & IRE results and overall team form recently: England tournament champions, 18 straight wins, Ireland have beaten all SH sides and England in last 6 months or so. The Welsh will have a good show, however - Wyn Jones will be captain for my money (Hartley being a moron and not even on very good form presently).

Wales were not robbed in Paris, both teams played poorly. Their game against Ireland was their only solid performance of the season. Tipuric and North are the only players guaranteed to be on the plane. Everyone else will have their work cut out for them this month to prove themselves. They only have the pro12 to do this also, as no Welsh team is playing champions cup rugby this month.

The French rugby team did a Thierry Henry style incident last weekend, Wales were robbed and they beat Ireland easily. Ireland never looked like scoring a try against them. Never, never, never, never.
