I am overwhelmed by emotions as tears fall down my cheeks! I was born and raised in Minneapolis. This Police Department has rid itself of its toxic antics and the officers who are left are wonderful. This officer died trying to render aid to a man that would ultimately decide to ambush him! I pray for the Mitchell family and the officers that make our everyday better! The community here is thankful everyday for our police officers/department. You are needed and appreciated. This community is slowly recovering from the status quo of Minneapolis policing so this truly is heartbreaking and is an eye opening tragedy. CLOSE TO HEART AND HOME 💔
