Help me! why is the puller eyeing the Mike isn’t the counter guard already going up the field to the second level?

If it's smackover he should be pulling to get the playside linebacker as well as a play like dart. You always have to remember different coaches block differently as well.

Usually double the 3 tech if you are utilizing the skip pull. Center back blocks the 1 tech, backside guard skip pulls and eyes the ILB
