These really grew on me. I don’t LOVE them but would definitely wear them and I think I like them with the white laces.

First Off-White purchase ever after all the Ls and like you I’ve never been a fan of the 5s but the colorway is dope to me and I’m still debating if I want to keep in my collection as first off-white I own or sell or use as trade bait

I finally bought my pair today. After wanting them for over a year now, I saved up, and hit the bullet. Watching your video (again) in anticipation for my pair!

This one grew on me over time and as luck would have it I won the drawing and copped a pair. Haven’t worn them yet because I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep them, but I decided I’m wearing them to work Monday and going to hang onto them.

Won the draw on Snkrs this morning!! Cant wait to see these in hand.

Finally picked these up. Definitely think Virgil did the damn thing with this pair, irregardless of hype. My main problem with 5’s before was the bulky toeboxes and overall chunkiness. This shoe took care of all of that & made it much sleeker (like the 2020 fire reds).

Got them earlier today for retail 🙌🏻. I‘m so excited right now. And as always great Review 👍🏻

It gives off a construction/industrial look and the yellow socks makes it look way better than it actually is, especially from the side view. The front/ top down view your eye just sort of gravitates to the hole in the tongue which I don’t like. I like better than when I first saw it but I’d much rather have other ow shoes

I like them, but honestly, I didn't even give it a try. We don't have the SNKRS App here in Switzerland, so it was kind of a lost cause. There are other drops coming (Jordan Air Max 200 x PSG & Reebok x Tom & Jerry) that I definitely like more. But great review, and looks great with yellow socks!

Completely agree with you bro! The 5’s aren’t one of my favorite Jordan silhouettes either. It was a good twist on the 5 but not worth the hype. I’m way more disappointed about the Quantums being a Chicago exclusive lol

the yellow socks add a nice pop to em. overall it's a solid pair but not worth the $700+ resale imo. besides the upcoming white colorway virgil teased looks way nicer.

Absolutely love the color way he did on this pair, but unfortunately I have never liked the Jordan 5’s. I’m going to pass but I’m sure others who like 5’s will appreciate this shoe. Put this color way on a Jordan 4, instant cop for me.

So, a few months on, how are these wearing? I'm thinking about picking up a pair, but I worry about all the exposed foam and whether it would lead to them prematurely wearing out. My only hope is that because nylon is so strong, it would increase the durability. I also have concerns with cutting out the holes, hopefully doing so doesn't lead to rips over time Also, I think it's hilarious that a literally unfinished pair of yellowed shoes are going for $800 but, you're paying for the originality obviously
