Why do people get so mad about sponsorships? Your favorite youtuber is being paid to bring you more content which in turn keeps them going. What's the issue? If you don't like what they're presenting, watch the next video. Pretty simple right? Am I missing something?

When someone starts as an open and honest reviewer of shoes and that's what you came to see, and then they start getting freebies to plug brands and services, openness and honesty no longer is possible and the main reason you came starts to disappear. There is something oily and sad when you watch guys like seth have to do the plug, they know they are shilling, there is something disingenuous about it and you can see it in their face, but the quest for free stuff and more views counteracts that...
