Off-White Air Max 90 How to Remove Yellowing
The Air Max 90 is iconic sneaker, but paired with the name Off White it becomes a must cop. Except for this eBay pick up was definitely not up to par. The classic Off White Ripstop material, foam and soles had become completely yellow. In today's Customs and Restorations with Vick we walk you through how to remove yellowing not only on the soles, but the sneaker as a whole.
To kick off this total restoration we relied on the RESHOEVN8R Signature Bundle to give the sneaker a proper deep clean and fully flush out the materials. The pretreatment broke down all of the dirt and created all the bubbles necessary while the laundry system went down to the deep portions of the sneakers. Pro tip: The Laundry System is the ONLY way to clean ripstop material successfully. What you see here is all the tips and tricks to achieve these results yourself. After all, with the right tools you can do it all.
After the washing cycle was done we used RESHOEVN8R Sole Revive to remove yellowing from the midsole and outsole of icy bottoms. Yellowing on sneakers is inevitable, but it is not irreversible! All you need is Sole Revive, 4500W of UV rays and a whole lot of patience. After 6 days and a few applications these are looking brand new.

Wild transformation!!! I just used your products for the first time today on a heavily stained pair of Pharrell Hu’s and they turned out amazing! Letting them dry overnight and putting the laces in tomorrow. Gonna wear them for the first time in months!

I'm telling ya'll, we need that UV activated cleaner. Also, it would be dope if you developed your own brush heads for that rotary shoe polish brush, I use those on almost all of my cleanings for the tongues/liners and what not, but if you guys made your own version of brush heads for those (soft/medium/hard) that would be amazing. Amazing work as usual Vick, so many people say "it's yellow it's toast" but there are so many ways to revive uppers on pairs. Steam cleaners are super underrated for sneaker cleanings, gotta have one in the arsenal! 👏

I was talking about them creating a UV activated cleaner, I've mentioned it previously in their other videos and they said they'd look into it. It cleans and deoxidizes soles and plastic pieces on uppers, and helps make whites pop back a lot easier with an indoor session after a cleaning. No need for sauce with this method, although sole sauce does work faster and slightly stronger, just not as safe around delicate materials as the UV cleaner is.

We do not recommend using Sole Revive on the uppers.

Does anyone know what material is used on the Chicago off white 1 toe box?
Using some SoleRevive rn to get the bottoms and midsoles icy and then just gotta take care of the mesh. Do we just combine the Oxiclean with the Reshoevn8r, give the mesh a good scrub, let it dry and then get some UV rays on it? Thanks!

Yo vic. I have a pair of air max 90s (remix pack) that I'm restoring myself. But I need advice for the toe box. The toe box is leather not mesh. It looks like the paint on the toe box is bubbling/starting to peel. I'm not sure if it's paint or if it's a the thin layer of "fake leather". Everything is still intact but it has a spot that looks like a bubble. As if the paint/leather is separating from the toe box. I'm not sure if it's paint or if it's material so I don't know what steps to take to fix it. Any advice?

No, Sole Revive will remove stains due to oxidation only.

There is no set time, you will need to keep checking the shoe every two hours. It can take from hours to weeks to get the desired results.

You only need the sun to remove yellowing. You don't need a Vick-2000. That is designed so you can continue to ice your soles overnight when the sun is not out and also security for people who live in areas where their sneakers might get stolen if left outside.
