99% of the people saying Latinx are either 2nd or 3rd generation, don't speak a lick of Spanish, and probably prefer pineapple salsa over verde.

Yeahhhh.. LatinX is a term that most likely has been pushed by white people for identity politics. None of my family use it nor do the people I know. What I find funny is that I don’t know a lot of Spanish people who use Latinx

I grew up with all latino/Latinas friends and to this day they still call me “china” my soccer coach called me that all my friends parents call me that and I love it 🥰

as a mexican i never heard anyone, friend or family, identify as a latinx. i feel like it's more of an online thing. like they will say it online but not to ppl they know bc it seems like a majority of ppl dont like that whole "x" thing
